I really, really wanted to like this since I'm such a huge Jon Bon Jovi fan, but I just can't. And especially when he dissed Axl at the start. As much of an asshole as Axl can be at times, he is an incredible lyricist and a better singer than Jon. Jon's personality wins, but as an artist Axl is better. He puts far more emotion and soul into the song. This version is just... limp. Sorry Jon! Maybe stick to Always that has plenty of soul :)

Bon Jovi is a great band but GNR kills this song. John's voice is better technically than Rose's but Rose has sung some of the best rock songs ever made as has John. Bon Jovi rocked the country for 10 years and many albums and is a world class singer. Has sung with everyone including Pavarotti. Rose had a very unique voice that died regularly due to screaming. He was great but a nut cake and he flamed out and is dead artisticly.

@kissandtell2709 Seems like all you've heard are "Have a Nice Day" and "It's My Life". Bon Jovi were musically really gifted during the late 80's and early 90's writing great songs like "Keep the Faith" and "Dry County", those show absolute skill from the whole band.

Jon had one of the greatest chest voice I've ever heard, now he has lost it though. If you start dissing Jon for his voice, I can tell you the bad moments from Paul Stanley and Billy Idol too. Both of them are good. ;)
