@albesbiker1992 Previous turbo last 250k km's, which is the one in the vid, only have 8 k km's on the new one but I feel it will last me. Never touched anything on the turbo before that, just felt it was time for a new one as it was starting to stick a bit, usually no boost but sometimes the dangerous overboost situation

If it is an 03-04 6.0 then you definately should upgrade head studs and EGR delete if your planing on chipping or heavy duty towing.

hey im thinking about doing a tune and exhuast on my truck, im going to make my own 5" exhuast, is it possible to get a 5" downpipe inbetween the firewall? Also another quick question we were looking at the edge evolution with attitude and the guys were saying we need to do a egr delete and headstuds, a 4G repair, is it nessary to do that becuase were just going to use it mildly for towing, please respond, Brock

I don't think it would be possible to get a 5" downpipe in there and you wouldn't want that. No benefit with it. If I was you I would look into custom tunes instead of off the shelf canned tunes. I run an SCT xcal2 which is the old model now, custom tuned by Eric at Innovative Diesel. You can also get the spartan tunes with their own tuner. They will be better then what you will get from the Edge. I am running tunes with no head studs for the last year and I have been safe

@coolkid327 i have a 4inch mbrp turbo back, and man it was really really hard gettin a 4inch down pipe in. i don't think 5inch will fit. but a 4 1/2inch pip might with the right bends, or the cab off lol

i got an '04 6.0 and i ordered a 5" turbo back system with cat and muffler delete, hope it sounds as mean as yours, im runnin about 520hp/ 910tq as it sits. What kinda exhaust system you got? How much hp you runnin? You got a tune/ any mods?

Should sound pretty good, I'm still stock in the hp/tq department. No tunes to it yet. I plan on getting headstuds and an egr delete before I go to deep into power mods. The exhaust is MKO kit with a 3.5" downpipe into the 5" pipe. I've changed it now to dual 4" with a muffler but the muffler will be getting deleted soon, too quiet for me now.

if you do decide to get a tuner i would definitely reccomend the sct, you get 3 different tunes including a 150 hp street tune for the 03-04 6.0, and has many more great features, i've yet to notice any adverse effects on the tranny

Are you on FTE? SCT is the recommended tuner on that site, who did you buy from? Innovative seem to be the front runners now for custom tunes since Spartan is out of the SCT loop now
