Keep in mind I was 7, but this movie has stayed in my head every since. lol I am 45 now and here I am. God bless the internet without it this movie would be but a mem..

I wonder if they actually had to pay for anyone's burial service. Not likely, but somebody could have had a stroke or heart attack while watching the movie. Would the movie makers pay up to avoid bad publicity? Burial was probably a lot cheaper back then. No mention of this on wikipedia.

There are flaws that cannot be dismissed with the editing and what not. But for the era, not bad. No Oscar award winning film but was entertaining. Felt for Mickey. Eric gets what he deserves. I couldn't help but laugh though when I saw the skeleton in the dress. Lol. Not too keen on constant remakes of everything but in the case of the Screaming Skull. I wouldn't mind seeing an updated version.

I actually own this on DVD. Bought it completely on a whim a few years back. It's so god awful...it's awesome. The scene where the Skull JUMPS through the door never fails to make me laugh my bum off.

These old horror movies are so entertaining. Sometimes, especially in the autumn, on a gray day or rainy day I'll take a day and watch two of three of these. Funny, they're actually relaxing to me LOL :)

This was one of those old B matinee movies; complete with all the gimmicks for audience to participate in. Like signing a waver for medical reasons..Complete BullZhit of coarse. Mostly to a make-out movie to scare your date into your waiting HEHEHEH. As a movie: its acting is subpar and mechanical; plot is a rip off of "Gaslight" with a twist. All in all, not such a "bad" movie, but not great either even considering the 1950's mindset. If you got an hour to kill its watchable. :-P

I'm a HUGE B&W horror movie fan. This was my first time watching this one.

I love the beginning, classic. The end would probably be awesome in 3-D lol.

I'd like to say it scared me but these movies don't. It's purely for pleasure. It's a shame to say, my generation and the ones after it have been spoiled by special effects. We can't fully appreciate the simplicities, cleverness, and creativity of the special effects in films like these.

Overall, I enjoyed it. :)
