Nightwish is Nightwish. i like the voice, the art of dressing and acting on stage of tarja aswell i wo it by anette!! They are my Favorite band, who i listen about 2-4 hours a day, for countless reasons. :-) So if you disagree with anette. just listen to a few songs with her. and if you do not like. listen to old songs.
Any one who loves Nightwish and dont miss Tarja is just totally insane. So stupid comments bout Tarja is just uncalled for.
Still, what happend happend and thats just the way it is. Anette is atleast to me just as wonderfull as Tarja was and no, ofc she isent Tarja, thats what is good. She and Tarja are totally differnt types of singers and amazing at it on top of that. Makes me glad to see what a happy band Nightwish looks like again. Tarja suited the band better but hey if she had to go, she had to go. Anette is a great person and a wonderful singer. Her style is different, not as elegantly gothic as Tarja was, but Anette has her charms. I like her. She must be very strong to put up with the dickheads who are taking their frustrations out on her. Give her a chance and stop dissing her for not being Tarja. She's not Tarja and neither are you.

@Uni0nDirect0r Yes. I quite liked several lyrics and the musical compositions from the new album. However, Annette ruined it. Now that is WITH the autotune imagine her without it. She is a terrible live singer. I think its time we kidnapp Tuomas tarja and marcello and lock them in a room until they reconcile whatever the fuck happened and reform nightwish. Nadie sabe lo que realmente sucedió dentro del grupo como para afirmar que tarja es la mala o el resto del grupo. En mi opinión Anette no canta mal, pero realmente no me parece que sea su estilo. Las letras de Tuomas son espectaculares y una voz espectacular le daba magia y pienso que ya no es igual. Pero si ella o los demás fueron los malos, creo que nadie lo sabe como para dar ese tipo de opinión.

How do you personally know they are happy? Certainly not from their stage pictures, where you can look over End of an Era and see them GENUINELY happy from the raw energy and emotion flowing between them and the audience.

Annette no es que cante mal de hecho la voz es dulce y bonita, simplemente no es una copia de Tarja, que era mucho más impactante porque era mezzosoprano lírica, en cambio Annette es una soprano y sinceramente creo que ella es buena, pero no para Nightwish porque sus composiciones son para una mezzosoprano. After nearly three years of breaking with Tarja there is still minute posts commenting this shit. Personally I just wait for the next album. Like Nirin said they are both great singers and different schools. End of the line hopefully.
There was absolutely NO REASON whatsoever to fire Tarja behind the stage.
Nice guys that they are, they had a group hug with Tarja while she still had tears of joy in her eyes, then they handed her "the letter" and walked away from her.

i just was at a NW concert and they really looked happy. Anette is so lovely and it's so cute when she hugs the others, ot just goes to Emmpu when he's playing a solo and looks at him, or gives a present to Jukka thrown on the stage from the public. I dont want to argue about singer-skills and voice but one thing is for sure, Anette is a lot more lovely and true-hearted than Tarja ever was or will be. When i was watching Tarja i felt i'm watching a statue, a talented one, but still a statue.
Oh sure, a Fan Acknowledging, Air Guitar Playing, Liquor Sharing, Headbanging, Marco High Fiving, Hip Swaying Statue. I like Anette, she's awesome, but I'm tired of all the " Tarja had no emotion" or " Tarja acted like a singing Statue" comments when all you have to do is look up the live performances with her and thoroughly debunk such cookie cutter comments.
Well, or course Tarja had emotion, she was classically trained and every opera singer knows that you have to feel the music, be the person, sing with the emotions. However my problem with Tarja was her connection to the audience. Personally I can never get that connection with her as I have with Anette. She may have a broader vocal range but I always look in stage presence.
The problem with anette is fakeness. She's rude to some fans when she has personal issues. She actually treated the audience in Argentina my country with the best attitude. But two months later said that was the worse country she ever been in. Tarja never did such thing. And that doesn't have anything to do with her being an argentinian's wife. That is called respect.

And i don't think for 1 second that she fake to love her fans, 1 example is that if u write something at her blog she will almost always answer and well Tarja don't have any place where u can ask her quetion wich is sad... =(

Annette no es que cante mal de hecho la voz es dulce y bonita, simplemente no es una copia de Tarja, que era mucho más impactante porque era mezzosoprano lírica, en cambio Annette es una soprano y sinceramente creo que ella es buena, pero no para Nightwish porque sus composiciones son para una mezzosoprano. No es culpa de ella, simplemente fue una mala decisión :/ Las canciones no se escuchan igual

I saw them live this year. And Anette was really, really good. At first I was really sceptical, but Anette did a great job.
I really like her and Nightwish is happy with her.

I like both singers, and the "Old Nightwish" isn't gone, we still have the records so we can listen to them anytime we want. I'm lookinf forward for their next album!=D

After nearly three years of breaking with Tarja there is still minute posts commenting this shit. Personally I just wait for the next album. Like Nirin said they are both great singers and different schools. End of the line hopefully.

There was absolutely NO REASON whatsoever to fire Tarja behind the stage.
Nice guys that they are, they had a group hug with Tarja while she still had tears of joy in her eyes, then they handed her "the letter" and walked away from her.

i just was at a NW concert and they really looked happy. Anette is so lovely and it's so cute when she hugs the others, ot just goes to Emmpu when he's playing a solo and looks at him, or gives a present to Jukka thrown on the stage from the public. I dont want to argue about singer-skills and voice but one thing is for sure, Anette is a lot more lovely and true-hearted than Tarja ever was or will be. When i was watching Tarja i felt i'm watching a statue, a talented one, but still a statue.

Oh sure, a Fan Acknowledging, Air Guitar Playing, Liquor Sharing, Headbanging, Marco High Fiving, Hip Swaying Statue. I like Anette, she's awesome, but I'm tired of all the " Tarja had no emotion" or " Tarja acted like a singing Statue" comments when all you have to do is look up the live performances with her and thoroughly debunk such cookie cutter comments.

Well, or course Tarja had emotion, she was classically trained and every opera singer knows that you have to feel the music, be the person, sing with the emotions. However my problem with Tarja was her connection to the audience. Personally I can never get that connection with her as I have with Anette. She may have a broader vocal range but I always look in stage presence.

The problem with anette is fakeness. She's rude to some fans when she has personal issues. She actually treated the audience in Argentina my country with the best attitude. But two months later said that was the worse country she ever been in. Tarja never did such thing. And that doesn't have anything to do with her being an argentinian's wife. That is called respect.
