Wrong on both counts. You don't need a license for semi-autos and Title 1 items can be purchased from a private party without a background check.

I hate our gun laws in Canada here, but having to acquire a license to own firearms really ain't so bad. It only takes two days..and 200 bucks. It keeps the lazy losers who wouldn't respect them from owning them. But it does nothing to keep them out of the hands of criminals.
Since when the hell do you need a license to own a firearm? Im not sure of Cape Cod law, but half those rifles were bolt action (unregulated here in MD). The only "licenses" needed in my state (which is one of the most strict gun control states) is for concealed carry permits, or for fully automatic weapons. No such license is required to own those weapons (assuming they are not full auto assault rifles) in your home.

First...you don't need a "LICENSE" to own firearms...you need a "permit" for conceled carry..and you need to register the firearms with the nfa and pay the $200 tax stamp with approval from the aft for full auto's, short barreled rifles or shotguns or suppressers...unless this man is a convicted felon in possition of these firearms or registered as mental insane or a drug user then he has a hell of a federal lawsuit against these officers for violation of the 2nd amendment here!!!

The only way that I know of that any of that could have been illegal is if the were unregistered fully automatic weapons. Now I can't tell that just from the video, but what I can tell is that he has no weapons that appear to be shortened or altered to an illegal length in any way. Dose this state have a limit on how much black powder you can have at any one time? I will say that a trash back might not be the best place to store it, but to each his own. Since when the hell do you need a license to own a firearm? Im not sure of Cape Cod law, but half those rifles were bolt action (unregulated here in MD). The only "licenses" needed in my state (which is one of the most strict gun control states) is for concealed carry permits, or for fully automatic weapons. No such license is required to own those weapons (assuming they are not full auto assault rifles) in your home.

Gun ownership should be UNTOUCHED by the government unless someone is seriously considered dangerous.
