  • i have that same les paul in the background

  • It's nice to see some good raw, young talent in this world of noise. Keep up the amazing playing.

  • how did you learn thiss..?

  • if the solo is 5 minutes then why is the video 3 minutes?

  • @SnipersDomain cuz it says he was playing part of a 5 minute solo in the description. haha

  • What key is this one, please?

  • does anyone have a clue where i can find the tabs for this? i found them before on justin kings site but i cant remember where.. thanks a bunch

  • Love it :) Your really good, And even tho it seems like it goes a bit fast for you well what can I say , AWESOME! . Hope I will be as good as you someday :)

  • I probably couldn't play that. Goob attempt and keep practicing. You should try playing at an open mic session as a voluntary intermittent player.

  • i dont get why people have to make it a contest , hes really good but that doesnt mean you have to only like on artist and compair him to all the others

  • justin king is a beast he just should slow it down sometimes, you're just mad cause you cant play guitar, you probably suck and are just jealous haha stop hatin'

  • Agreed. I'd rather listen to paint dry.

  • srsly?

  • Just as I told redking15ca above you...

    Die. Now.

  • Seriously. You need to fucking kill yourself.

  • if your going to bend strings at least try and bend to the right note

  • Also... try downloading Tux Guitar..put it in Google.. and then search for some guitar pro tabs.

  • A little advice on covering artists like Justin King... watch their videos and pay close attention to their pciking patterns. King is a tapping artist. Many of his songs and riffs are played without strumming. This may be why you have a hard time on the parts such as 1:48 and beyond. King wouldn't try to slide up and down the fretboard so much, he would just tap the notes he wants.

You have something going for you. You may not make it big but playing should be fun.

  • nice man... just keep practicing.. i can see you have potentials.. keep it up..

  • well done it was really good

Dont listen to what there people say cose some people dream of being ble to play like u one day u might be the bes

    good luke

  • Dude not bad man, some minor messups but i never heard the origional so i could only go off what you did. Very nice.

  • Comment removed

  • your technique sucks.

  • to bad good technique is just based on preference, so its kinda hard to say someones technique sucks.

and id like to see you make a video thats just as good, i mean its not the best video but its amazing for what it is

  • But i Think peoples preference of that technique has a standard which is not shown here. If you really want me too i will. But there is another guy i saw on youtube cover it and it was very well done.

  • so what if its not shown here, if you just listened to the audio i doubt youd complain about technique since technique usually doesnt make what someone is playing sound different, making technique useless.

i.e. jason becker has terrible technique conpared to what people say is the "correct" technique. but hes still amazing

  • But he is also playing a cover of someone else song, which i would hope to see Justin king technique for the song shown here.

  • That's funny you would say that Brandon because this dude put his stuff out there for conctructive critisism and wheres your video with your great technique again?

  • Do you really want me to make one? Will it make you happy?

  • No what will make me happy is if you lay off this dudes "bad technique" just because it wasnt perfect. I dont see your name on any record labels or favorited youtube videos either so get over yourself.

  • And your point? I come to believe that most of the best guitarist don't have record labels, stuck in the basement making music being extremely innovative with their instrument. I don't know why 2 people took my opinion personal anyways. His technique sucks that's what i think, thank you next video. How you disagree with me anyways once it hit 1:48 its like he forgot how to play guitar.

  • it's not dull, shithead.

  • sorry but that is one hell of a dull video. There is no particular skill there and your bend. OUCH. Good luck with that .

  • slsoccer is a tool.

  • that a big baby taylor i have 1 of those!!!!!!

  • do you need to read music to get into berklee?

i've seen different things, but it's not specific on the sight. thanks

  • martins have a distinct sound...but i personally like taylor better....except the travel baby taylor

  • I have a travel baby taylor, doesnt sound bad at all

  • its preference man

  • thats a stupid comment, the tonalities of the guitars are completely different. Martin's are more of that down to earth, warm folkie sound, and Taylors are much more brighter....its all a matter of opinion dude, personally I love Martin's, but then again, I live 15mins from the factory

  • dude u've got chops...are you doing music in college? u have some great talent

  • actually ya.

I go to Berklee College of Music.

but this video is nothing like what i play like now

  • good luck at berklee man. My dad was a performance major there back in the day. What are you studying?

  • You go to Berklee???

    The one in boston right?

I want to go there so bad.

Was it hard to get in?

  • need to work on you timing

  • ditch that taylor and get yourself a martin, lol

  • haha, funny you say that, i just got one

  • Is it better than a Taylor?

I played a Taylor a couple months ago and haven't played one since

but I miss that guitar, it was so sweet!

    but Martins are better?

  • It's more a question of opinion, I own a Taylor because i think they're more resonant, plus they make a great acoustic electric guitar, martins are great though.

  • yeah I've played one of each and I so far think the Taylor is the better of the two

  • @slsoccer hey hey hey. Don't be be hating on Taylors now!

  • how old are you dude?

  • 16 in this vid

  • wow. thats how old I am and I'm no where near this good. what sorta stuff did you start with when you started out learning justin king style stuff.

  • happy senior year then!

  • your pretty good! :D

  • You probably get asked a lot, but I'd love to have some help with the tabs here. Can't find one online, and don't have quite a good enough ear to pick it out

  • Good job. Rather than try to be Justin King or mimic his playing, you did it your way, which is cool. If people want the real thing, they can watch JK himself.

  • your hot

  • does anyone know where do find justin king tabs for this song. I cant find paris morning anywhere

  • agreed

  • you=untalented asshat, sixpackmassiveass

  • Sweet! Maybe if you got a different kind of string that would help the sound a little more. I know playing like Justin King hurts like a mother though!

    Good job. :]

  • Not being funny or anything but i cant see the strings? good playing

  • You can see them at certain parts, but it does look like he's not actually playing the song (don't worry poster, I know you are..it just LOOKS like you're not lol) couple small mistakes but other than that it's a good job

  • yeah whats up with that?

  • lol look at the head of the guitar there their:P

  • I love this song.

I say anyone who can play a Justin King song is wicked awesome.

Which means you sir, are pretty wicked awesome. :]

  • Although you make a few technical errors here and there, your emotive playing and dynamics make up for it. Good job!

  • i like acoustic guitars so much better than electric ... nice keep up the gud work :D

  • good job, keep it up

  • where did u get the tabs for that? I've looked everywhere and couldn't find any

  • by ear my brother... by ear...

  • Thats amazing. i love the sound of acoustic guitars. very much so.

  • I think there is a noticeable difference between King's (I believe its a martin) and the taylor. both very nice guitars but I think you lose some of the low range with taylor.

  • ya, well, first off, i don't play it even close to right, and this is recorded through an imac mic, and also, yes, Martin have more personality in the lower ranges.

  • ok.. good! keep going on..

  • You're pretty good. Better than i expected which was a nice surprise. How long have you been playing?

  • Keep going man, doing a good job - that's one of my favourite songs. Do you know where I could get the tab for this at all?

  • that's really nice keep it up

  • nice man keep it up

  • Um...

    You're amazing.

That's my favorite Justin King song, and you did a glorious job. :]

  • Um...

    You're amazing.

That is my favorite Justin King song ever.

And you did a glorious job on it. :]

  • you are skilled.

  • very impressive =)

  • hey dude! thats cool...

and hey i own the same les paul guitar you have! is it an epiphone?

  • naw man, it's a real Gibson Les paul '93

  • Relaxed man, Nice!

  • this is probably my favorite song by justin..not too bad-keep it up!

  • keep it up =)

  • Fuckin A dude! What you got is feeling and don't listen to stupid ass nay sayers. Just keep playing and everything will fall into place. oh yeah, keep listenint too! BRAKE A LEG dude!

    SeanO

  • hey this is a pretty good song, do you do a lotta of justin king songs? I just started guitar a couple of months ago and i can play knock on wood, i guess i just got talent or because i played piano for five years before guitar

  • Bullshit

  • yeah hehe bullshit

  • Not bad. As Dr. Dread already pointed out you're not playing it very accurately, but it still sounds pretty good. If you want to play it more like Justin does, check the links at the end of this post. I started tabbing it awhile back. Its still in rough draft form, and I'll probably never finish it, but it might be worth a look.

  • by ear? pretty impressive...and a lot of willpower. There is a tab, but its unfinished...if you play it in DADGAD with capo 2, it should slot in perfectly with the mp3...sadly its unfinished! but you kinda know the rest anyway lol...il message you with the link

  • good attempt...the tab or whatever you used is not accurate enough though...keep it up.

  • hey man, thanks, but i didn't use a tab, i did it by ear, but if you found a tab, please tell me about it!!!

    thanks
