  • @ crazy fuvk you can get a good wheel set from worksman bicycle

  • Bad ass

  • nice bike :)

  • what tha Equitment under the engine?

  • outstanding work, the bike is stunning, well done ..

  • Good job!

  • Damn impressive! I always loved the look of the rectangle look of the old Harley gas tanks.

I was going to write to ask you if you knew the technical name of those type of tanks or where you could buy relicas. Then I saw you built your own, even more impressive

Are those stock bicycle tires or did you beef them up?

    Damn impressive indeed.

  • hey what was the pully under the engine that was connected to the pedals for it looked like a drive unit or something I"am really curious please hit me back crzymn@hotmail.com by the way great project and I"am starting my own thanks again for the step by step happy holidays !

  • Love it, love the materials used and the concept! Making something out of nothing takes time, effort, and skill!

  • Epic mettle skillz sweet one off ride man.

  • Nunca vi algun trabajo igual , déjame expresarte mis mas Sinceras felicitaciones , de mecánico a mecánico !.

  • Sweet build, did you make the spring-fork you put on it?

Im interested in putting something like this together but cant find a decent fork

  • great lookin bike bro....Bigger engine on your next bike?

  • @thomas46r U know, I am actually giving a lot of thought to fitting a real motorcycle engine into this one. A single...maybe in the 250cc range. I'm looking...not actively, but I am looking...

  • Well done, Champ. I love it!

  • nice job good fab, if you have any suggestions who can build one i can race in tucson next year, would be great thanks.

  • I still dont understand that is the purpose of fan cluch in this project? When it becomes hot it will stop pedals. It makes no sense.

  • Guy? isnt it sort of stupid to bend the hoop for the engine, and weld the thin in to the frame, and then not put the engine in it, istead you mounted it above, the cradle. Kind of a waist! hell with the engine hoop in the frame? bye a lawn mower engin or an old briggs& Stratton WPB engine and put it in the cradle.

  • @FireDropTechnologies Clearly you don't get it. And speaking of stupid, isnt has an apostrophe. I don't know what a "thin in" is. "istead" is spelled instead. There should be no comma between "above" and "the" in the following: "above, the cradle." A "waist" is something you put a belt around. I have no clue what "hell with the engine hoop in the frame" means. "bye" should be buy. "engin" ends with an e.

  • @F650GSNB1629

    Exuse my dislexic ass.

The message was clear to any ass that has ever studied the real ones.

I used to build clones like your for fun and proffit.

It wasment to help not to hurt, and it would put the chian straight line to the rear cog.

  • @F650GSNB1629

a new level of retardedness has been achieved... there is even spell-check on here...WTF??? beautiful bike Sir!

  • @monkeyfingerz Appreciate the comment...very kind of you. Thx!

  • @F650GSNB1629 Funny how everyone wants to talk $h!t but they haven't posted any of their own builds. Nice work. I am looking for a new project and have been thinking about the 20s motorcycle look. Wit the resurgence of the crusier style bicycles I thing that may be my next one.

  • oh ya...i am SO GOING TO STEAL EVERY IDEA. very cool build..!!

  • what kind of fork do you put on it? is it over size?

  • Love it!!! Wish I had your skills and shop for my bike build.

  • Hello I'm from Argentina. I know the make of the original bike please. is a beautiful bike. thanks

  • Looks great! I really need a welder and a tubing bender.. I've been itching to do one of these for a long time. Might I ask where you bought the wheels?. I like the idea of internal drums to maintain the retro look. Looks like only the front has a brake though? Isn't that a bit risky?

  • lots of thanks ... i think i will build my own bike and i didnt now what type of metal use for modify the frame.. Ok thanks.. but, do you think that steel is easier to curve and modify this form??? bye And thanks

  • Of what material is made de frame? thanks

  • @toampalma Black gas pipe from Home Depot. If I would have known better, I would have used steel tubing from the local metal store--it's easier to work with than the gas pipe...and it's lighter!

  • great looking bike!

  • nice !

  • Sweet build... Got a video of you riding?

  • Gee I wish I had a workshop. I have a small damp space under the house.

  • thanks for the info man. one more question, what is the 'unit' you put under the motor, that connects to the pedals? "transmission by any chance?

Once again, she looks great. Very vintage!

  • @AshishJeep It's a fan clutch out of a Land Rover. There's detailed information on it here: billsbike.blogspot.com

  • VERY NICE! how much did the total project cost you (approx) and what kind of motor did you use?

  • @AshishJeep Thanks for the kind words. The motor is one of the little Chinese two strokes available from lots of different places--"SkyHawk GT5 66cc/80cc" The big ticket items were the motor...$150 (I got it on sale). The fork $100. I got a Sturmey Archer hub with a brake $50ish, then I had high-strength wheels build $200...then the retro tires $60...and the seat and grips...$200. The rest was little things...--$8 here, $5 there... $9 for this... $13 for that--it becomes real money.
