Ok I must say that Portal 2 is BY FAR THE BEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED IN MY LIFE! And I'm not joking the storyline really got to me, the Co-Op was absolutely amazing and the puzzles were just so simplisticly intelligent! 100000000 out of 10!!

I've seen many comments about how far in the future it this takes place. Just remember in the beginning of the game the computer says "99999999" (eight 9s) I'm assuming it is in months due to Wheatley's comment for subjects only being under for a few months. Giving plenty of time for all surface structures to turn to dust. A side note here, the turrets don't shoot you because Chell is no longer a test subject. (PS when in space the dark side of earth is dark, no light = no power = no combine.)
