Hehe, that's one of the most respectful masacres I've ever hear of a song. I actually enjoyed it a lot. And don't worry, it's very well done for a non native-speaker. I didn't even think it was possible with this song, so thumbs up.

Do you know what the song is about? It's a very delicate and poetic song which does some very strange but playfull tricks with the dutch/flemish language. If you're interested, I could post a translation, although I don't think it would completely cover it.

Great performance T! I had a listen to the original and had just as much trouble understanding it, even though my first language is Dutch. It's actually sung in the Flemish dialect. All that aside, I think it's great that you made the effort, and I still loved the way you sounded.

Great cover! I'm Dutch and to be true, at the beginning it sounded to me like you were singing Finnish or something haha. But later in the song it sounded pretty good! You should do more Dutch songs!

But don't worry about your Dutch. It actuality is a very difficult language. I know even real bilingual people, living in Holland, who still have problems speaking Dutch.
