preludes had H22, h22a and h23 motors. Accords had F22 for the earlier I-4s. and the s2000 had the F22a, although they share the same designation, the motors share nothing in common. Integra and civic was B16-B20. But now civics and most hondas for that matter are K-series for the 4 cylinder motors.

To the guys arguing about modding civic or rsx... Rsx type S comes with the most desirable tuner engine on the market.. The B series... Don't get your facts based on a regular rsx... They both look the same but very very different. A non engine swapped civic tuned wouldn't beat a stock RSX type-s ... The B series engine is so strong you can practically slap a stage 1 turbo on it without too many problems ect. The brakes are better,the suspension is more stiff and tuned for race... Handling much

This is what happens when you add an aftermarket turbo kit to a factory laggy VTEC valve gear, both showing unrefined (on/off) power "kicking in" suddendly after 6,500 rpms.

Civics are not meant to have turbocharging, otherwise Honda would had offered them from the factory. Next time buy a Focus or a GTI. They have the build to withstand turbo power.
