@eew64059 If the score is 6-3 6-0 6-1, then yes, he probably didn't win too many, and he wasn't in scintillating Gasquet form, so they probably were a bit boring.
Nadal simply the best!!! after a defeat that moraly should affected a lot of player, he returns to the court with the fire in they eyes and play his best tennis not many player can do that
There is no word in the dictionary to describe Rafa, an exceptionally magnificent player..out of this world..I think Rafa is making a hell big of a deal of Djoko in his head. I believe Rafa will come back and dominate this game for a long, long time. I have faith in Rafa. When that time comes, which will not be long ahead, Djoko will sink into oblivion.
@eelaaj1 Nadal is entering his late 20s soon which history proves is when players begin to decline. Djokovic is far and away the best player in the world and has dominated Nadal like nobody ever has before. The new Djokovic will be a very difficult proposition for Nadal to overcome. Djokovic can play his normal game and beat Nadal whereas Nadal must play his best just to win a set. Nadal will never be dominant again. The game is changing now and soon Del Potro will be back to his best.
@HenryTheJoker _ Djokovic in not that much younger than Nadal. They are almost the same age, and pretty much the same age in Tennis yrs. BTW, 25 is mid 20's not late. and that doesn't mean shit, look at Federer, Agassi, and a handful of others who have still done well and won big in their later years. Nadal, Djoko, and even Murray have long way to play and still win.
@paulcorda Yes but lest you forget, it's Nadal who has had MANY more injuries than anybody else in the top 4. Nadal's knees caused him to quit in Paris against Davydenko and not even able to play the World Tour Finals that year and then have another injury against Murray in Rotterdam, followed by another injury leading to his inability to defend Wimbledon and then another injury causing him to quit in the Australian Open and then a foot injury recently...
@eelaaj1 - I agree. All these ppl who are over praising Djokovic seem to forget that Nadal has a 16-13 egde over Djokovic. Even after all the losses this yr. He used to Dominate Djokovic. I give Djoko a lot of credit, he did what he had to do to improve his game against Nadal and win. Now it is Nadal's chance to do the same, and he will. I have no dought. Also, pretty much NO ONE has been able to beat djoko this yr, so he has dominated the entire season, not just Nadal.
@eelaaj1 dude im sorry but i think we all really know that obviously nadal can become the best again but where going a little to far by saying that djoko will fall into a dark oblivion lol and also nadal 'might' become the best again but then again djokovic 'might' become the best ever and also nadal
There is no word in the dictionary to describe Rafa, an exceptionally magnificent player..out of this world..It just breaks the heart to see him lose to someone who I dont think will ever be as good as him on and off the court. I think Rafa is making a hell big of a deal of Djoko in his head. I believe Rafa will come back and dominate this game for a long, long time. I have faith in Rafa. When that time comes, which will not be long ahead, Djoko will sink into oblivion.
@beats4hobner Rafa's natural game is defensive. Look at his stats. His opponents like Gulbis, Federer, Tsonga, Verdasco, and Djokovic ALWAYS have many more winners. Nadal is now being forced to play a style unnatural to him. He can't rely on being defensive. He can normally force his opponent into errors but that will not help him against Djokovic.
@beats4hobner Even if Rafa takes the first set, Djokovic still charges back and Nadal gets scared and tentative and begins to moonball and try to force Djokovic to hit errors which does not work.
these passing shots won't work against djokovic because of his anticipation.after us open 2011,nole understood one thing very clearly-he has to play low percentage shots all the time and make them happen, that he has to pull the trigger before rafa. what these estabished greats(fed, rafa) are doing is to play traditional game and go for a winner when the situation is favourable, beacause they have won so much doing theis round the years
i guess gasquet didnt get a point huh? so basis

4.there is no way to win against djoko without a gigantic serve.rafa has to hit those 220kmph he hit last year in us open.and ofcourse, the aces.
5.whenever a rally comes up and nole gets an opening,he will try to hit a winner.rafa has to take the initiative and, maybe hit the winner earlier.
6.nole changed into what he is today in 1 month!!-after the worldtour finals and before the aussie open. rafa has that time too.

rafa should notice these things
1.djokovic never leaves the baseline, which helps him choose to retreat or approach quickly.this has to be emulated
2.nole's second serve is still not masterclass, ferrer took advantage of it in rome/madrid(i forgot) this year.rafa has to try and hit winner on it
3.nole is very sluggish in the opening set-prone to get broken.once rafa takes the lead he should not let it go atleast in 1st set
