Fantastic series, fantastic main and guest actors! I particularly love Ben Daniels and his James Steel! The second part of the episode "Love and loss" reminds me of a Quentin Tarantino movie.

@Nemesis000000 Yes, but only the lawyers that are classified as barristers. Lawyers that are classified as solicitors do not. However, according wiki (I have not verified this) lawyers that are classified as solicitor advocates and not just as solicitors, can also wear wigs as of January 2008.

I watched the entire DVD in just two days! I LOVED IT!!! I am a big fan of all L&O series. L&O UK is as exciting as the original, but at the same time is so different, especially when it comes to the courtroom scenes. Even when Mr. Daniels is not able to get as close to the witnesses as the American prosecutors do in each episode, he still manages to make UK's courtroom scenes very exciting! Can't wait for the next season!

This series is amazing. I've been a L&O fan since the beginning, when I was still a preteen (I'm 32 now.) The great thing about L&O | UK is that while having a real "London" feel, it still feels like proper L&O, which is quintessential New York. The cast is brilliant. Everyone needs to take a look at this series!

I was very skeptical about this series before I saw this! A BRITISH adapation of an AMERICAN series? Well I'll definitely look forward to buying the DVD as well as see it on USA Network, BBC America or NBC's Saturday night lineup! I can't wait!!!
