It's totally rigged the miss glamorozzi girl or whatever has been to the birchbox office and met the staff. She practically advertising for them that's why she gets great products!!!!!

Umm they don't get the soap from a hotel. The soap company makes soaps for hotels.. & they just gave birchbox some for their boxes. So chilllll... Not hating, just sayin.

With the soap thing, I doubt they actually got the soaps from a hotel, It was more likely from the company who supplies to hotels and just gave birchbox the sample sizes.

I was also very disappointed. I got that ugly card, a perfume that smelled musky and disgusting(not the one you got) , a lotion that smelled like baby wipes, and a lip gloss with chunky glitter in it. Im going to try it out for another month and if its like that again, im unsubscribing. Im glad that you were HONEST about birchbox. I bought it thinking it was amazing, i was literally so excited. Just to get completely let down.

•I kinda of think the birchbox is a hit or miss type thing. Some months you'll get a product you'll love & sometimes you won't. But on the plus side it's only 10 dollars a month and some of the products you receive are well over 10 dollars.

that's weird about the Stila shadow because they have some of the softest, pigmented eyeshadows ever! I'm guessing though, that the ones Birchbox was selling was the recently discontinued ones because Stila recently changed their packaging from only pan form to all potted form. :)

Love this quality Cici! Your skin also looks flawless, what foundation were you wearing (if any)? Also at hotels I've stayed at there were mini bath and body works products in the room so the soap you got might not be some cheap one

I've been subscribed to Birchbox for a few months, and I recommend you try it at least another month or so. Some boxes are fabulous, and others not so much. Also, try filling out your beauty profile and the surveys with the products you received, that way they know how you feel for future reference. :)

What they did with the soap, was they bought it in bulk like the hotels do, and they just got the same sample size and product with the same packaging as the hotel would. it's cheaper for them that way.

Great quality! About the soap: its possible the company birchbox got the soap from only makes sample sizes for hotels, and therefore when birchbox got the products from them, they had the hotel packaging. I don't think they would get the soaps from a hotel. :)
