  • underground leo and underground kate........

  • kate looks sooo much better with red hair <3

  • Kate and Leo looks very good together. Why don't they just be a couple for real.

  • @dustpurple Because Leo Dicaprio is kinda vein when it comes to women. They're all models. Every single one of them.

  • This movie is literally an Emotional Rollercoaster ! <3

  • I guess those who dislike got back to watching extremely stupid, uninteresting and pointless pieces of shit like Transformers. But it's ok.Just stay away and let real cinema-loving people enjoy extraordinary performances of real talented actors in extraordinary intelligent, true and heartbreaking movies. In other words, real pieces of an art that is called cinema. Thanks Kate,Leo and Sam Mendes for keeping the thing real.

  • i bet kate called leo jack and leo called kate rose

  • This film was so heartbreaking.

  • Kate and Leonardo... They need to make more movies together! They're the best screen couple in history!

  • Just wana clear a couple of tings up!

It was kate who showed her husband the scripted nd kate nd leo diliberatly avoided roles which starred dem both as da romantic couple but i cnt remember the reason!

  • after their love story in titanic, this movie kind of "damaged" my opinion of them as a couple.anyway it is a great movie...

  • @blackblank2

Same here, after watching the titanic I only imagined them as happy as can be. but yea, this is a great movie :)

  • what's the name of the song that starts at 0:39?

  • @Chloe835 Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone

  • so sad ;/

  • i love kate winslet and leonardo dicaprio! its soo good to see them together again since titanic

  • I love this movie its amazing!

  • any movie with leo is amazing

  • So to anyone that has see the movie 1:52 notice whats missing?

  • @ash9023 Tell us whats missing.

  • @kthankxbye blood

  • @ash9023 I dont remember him bleeding while he was runny, but of course I dont even remember why he was running LOL

  • @kthankxbye ah no not that part but I guess 1:50-1:51 maybe? When she is at the window the pool of blood at her feet they took it out.

  • a very powerful film with a great ending

  • Is this movie any good? I haven't seen it. It's great to see them together in a movie again. :)

  • @Cinlouxx it's an awesome movie, but it's also very depressing. If you enjoyed other Sam Mendes films, you'll definitely enjoy this one. I did anyways =P

  • One of the best movies of last year........also see The Reader.

  • @Cinlouxx

    This movie is amazing ;)

  • I don't think Kate or Leo would ever want to do a film that was an epilogue to Titanic.

Anyway, I've heard some people jokingly say this is what would have happened had they both survived, after the "honeymoon" period wore off.

  • what is that nina simone song??!?! ARRGH I LOVE IT

  • @CHUBAASAURUS Wild Is The Wind. So haunting

  • i love kate and leo soo much..titanic is my fv. movie and i love revolutionary road very much...

  • nope. its an entirely different thing. i think it was kate winslet who conviced her husband to take on the directoral role and then they decided leo would be great for the role. i wouldnt be surprised if thats what happened seeing as tho kate and leo are best friends

  • is this film any good?

  • Yes, go see it. Now.

  • the book was hard at some points.. the movie went quicker and it was not boring. what do you think was up with this April?

  • well she was kinda messed up because she never saw her parents and they never were there for her so i think that and being raised by her aunt messed her up alot

  • I want to watch this movie but to me the trailer looks boring was anyone else like that but then they watched it and actually liked? Coz I don't want to watch it then be like this movie just ruined the 2 of them in titanic get me?

  • The movie is a bit slow... It was good, but very- very- VERY depressing. It doesnt have anything to do with the Titanic- at all- it's really opposite if anything. They're not happy at all, in any shape or form.

  • if you like drama youll like this film. its A LOT deeper emotionally than titanic imo

  • leo and kate are so adorable together.

    i love this movie.

  • it's good to see leonardo dicaprio and cate winslet together again after titanic ;)

  • its kate not cate

  • I Loved this Movie! Amazing acting, writing, and directing. Everything is GREAT!

  • Depois de Titanic eles estão juntos denovo

  • hell no its not true, what movie has he been horrible in?

he is a fantastic actor, and this movie may not be for everybody, but if you like these kind of movies you will truly enjoy this

  • Absolutely not. Its my favorite roll for him.

I've seen "Titanic", "The Beach", "Catch Me If you Can", "The Departed" and "The Aviator". This is my favorite performance by him. The others are good but this just touches you in ways the others don't.

  • ive seen "Titanic ,aviator, this boys life, gangs of new york, catch me if you can,the 11th hour, the beach, the departed, romeo and juliet, and i forgot what the other movie was but i love leo and titanic and revolutinary road!

  • This movie is not "boring"; people nowadays are satisfied by such bland media like "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" and the masses herd to it like mindless cattle.

Revolutionary Road, on the other hand, is "Art on Film" that makes you question: Where am I in my life? Why am I here? Is it because this is where I want to be or because I fell into the stereotypical mold? If you don't want to be there, how do you get out? and CAN you get out?

  • i wanna see this movie sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad

  • the problem with this movie is that you are unable to sympathize with kate winslet's character they don't do enough back story to show what makes her so unhappy

  • have you read the book?

  • i haven't read the book so i not sure if its better, books usually are, but my comments were aimed at the film

  • seriously one of the best movies i've seen all year. props to the whole cast. kate winslet you're astounding. it feels so real, a seemingly perfect family, but the walls can see the chaos that occurs.

  • Watch this in high quality DVD free at

    X1movies (dot) com

  • this movie is very good. the acting is :)!!!!

  • a great film

  • wats the song that plays in the trailer

  • Wild is the wind.

  • do you know what version it is

  • it is performed by Nina Simone. I am sure because I downloaded it from iTunes and it sounds like the version in the trailer.

  • um...did she died at the end?

  • yeah, she did

  • I can not Freaking wait to see this movie.

Kate and Leo back together once again!

    Yay!!

  • this movie sucks

  • lol @ 1:49 ish

  • I want to see this movie but my mom says she has to see it first and I know that she wont let me see it anyway:(

  • wow that sucks. your profile says your 16. you're old enough to see it. your mom must be really strict about that.

  • I'm really 14 my bro made me a youtube account and he must of put 16!

  • yeah, you're 14. whatever, I still stay with my original opinion. I think you're old enough to see this movie unless you haven't seen as much "inappropriate" material as i'd expect you to see. it depends on how mature you are mentally. age can only reflect so much. if you believe (KNOW) you're mature for this film, then I'm hella sure you can see it.

  • wow you are a real pussy. You are 16 and still need permission to watch a movie. Somethings are just sad :(

  • I'm 14!

  • now's a good enough time to grow up. i;ll write your momma a letter and she'll let you go.

  • wow she still wont let me till she sees it to see if I could handdle it!

  • This movie is not so outrageous. I'd recommend it even though there are other great movies for your age category....if you see it, let us know your opinion

  • hahahahahahaha

  • Does anyone know if the song in the trailer is on the soundtrack CD? I LOVE this music! If you know, and could let me know, please do. Thanks very much!

  • For all the hype and star power, it's surprising what a titanic flop it's turning out to be. Only 18 million domestic and

44 million world-wide (after 7 weeks). I've heard it's a realy downer of a movie. Winslet's "The Reader" is doing even worse.

  • So I suppose you think Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind is shit. Hummmmm.... Laymen.

  • It's about a couple that has a dream to go move to Paris, but then things get in between and soon they realise that it won't work. It's a really touching move, I loved it.

  • can someone explain what this movie is about?

  • this movie is pretty nuts in a good way, but man.... a bit rough at the end.... good acting but I sort of wonder what the real point is.

  • this will be so gd, i really wanna see it, kate winslet and leonardo 2gether agennn!!!

  • great movie, very touching Leo and Kate are the best!!!

  • Actually the film is excellent, the trailer does not transmit correctly. It is not romantic at all, it is more like a raw well directed drama. Not very holliwood style thou... Do not miss it.

  • April becomes sick of her marriage to Frank and performs an abortion on herself and bleeds to death.

  • could you all just rise above it and keep your opinions to youself?

  • proud to be european?

When your women start shaving then I shall be impressed. you whore.

  • fritz

  • what an amazing movie!! kate winslet's the best!!! its very deep and real, it has a very unexpected ending.. totally loved it

  • Who sings the song?

  • i read the book a couple of weeks ago, it was not bad just a bit too depressing even for me and i usually enjoy a tragic story. so i'm not sure if i'll enjoy seeing the movie but oh well.

  • why are americans so boring and superficial ?

i bet that 80% of the americans didn't get this movie because of their superficiality.

    PROUD TO BE EUROPEAN.

  • Proud to be European too. And although I may understand your reasons to accuse Americans of being superficial, you can't generalize. Besides, they also have other quallities that us, European certainly do not have. Also, try not to forget that USA is such a big country, you can find any type of person there.

Finally, please avoit insulting an entire country, it's not correct. I am sure you agree with me. There are interesting/boring, beautiful/ugly, nice/b*tchy people everywhere.

  • The man that wrote the book this movie is based off of is American. Dumb ass.

  • and fuck you to all the ppl that are ruining. go neck urselves.

  • thanks for ruining part of the damn movie.

  • after watching this film, i was angry.angry i ever watched it not only was it a complete waste of time, i realised that they did absolutely nothing thru out the whole film. how this gets good reviews is wat shocked me, either everyone rides the whole leo kate band wagon or everyone is just depressed. if u are thinking of committing suicide and u need that final push please do watch this movie it will make ur decision much easier. franks words come to mind "this was no big triumph".

  • I think you're right because i felt so much depressed after watcing this movie! But i do like it actually though! And after watching it my head felt soo much heavy and i could'nt realize that Kate was dead.

  • wow really? thanks SO much asshole.

  • obviously u know nothing about the surburban inclination to conformity in both contemporary and past society.

due to that, you would indeed dislike the film.

however if u had any appreciation for dramatic techniques and concept, u would have actually been enlightened.

  • georgia, georgia brown, midnight train to georgia.u can razzle dazzle it all up with ur fansy smanshy words like "society" and "appreciation" but seriously plz tell me about these dramatic techniques and concepts i seriously want to be enlightened, please tell me how u were enlightened i really want to know its totally ok if u cant, coz like,id totally get it if u cant put ur enlightenment to words coz u know its like woah im totally enlightened from this depressing movie that i cant describe it.

  • im not justifying myself to someone who thinks 'society' and 'appreciation' are 'smanshy' words.

let alone the fact you wouldnt be able to understand what i was talking about, even if i bothered.

cue your: "see, you dont no anything blah blah' retaliation. i can see it coming.

  • but just incase:

so heres an example: vector lines are utilised in the scene where leonardo sits on the bed and the window panes shadows are cast across the room. this also symbolises gaol bars, presenting the responder with the concept that he is living in a metaphorical prison. he cannot escape the life he has chosen.

    want some more?

  • yes

  • dont get me wrong im sure theres alot of very nice vector lines on the bed but umm...at the end of the day what was that all about?? thats great we all get the whole cant escape from conformity but umm like so what? and u didnt answer my question i want to know how u were enlightened by that movie thats all i want to know.

  • need some more time?? thats ok take your time.

  • To "computista": The person singing IS Nina Simone! She just has a very brassy voice! It's not a dude singing in the trailer. It's a chick.

  • Yay im so glad theyre back 2 gether they work so well!!!!

  • Stunning movie. :)

  • It was amazing film,it's schocked me,really!!!Leo,Kate you are the best!!!

  • How did the movie shock you?:-)

  • Someone who can answer my question: Who is the guy who sings Wild is the wind for Revolutionary Road "I know that this song is Nina Simone, but who is the guy who sings for the movie?

  • lol, it was actually really good.

but noo movie in the world will ever beat titanic

  • This movie was amazing. It's a shame it didn't get more Oscar nods. Kate Winslet was flawless, and fool of emotion.

  • Go see this movie and over 30,000 more free at greatmovies(DOT)tk

  • It's herself not her self...stupid Canadian

  • kaliaisgay: fucking cunt why do you post the ending? stupid bitch you ruined the movie...

  • Comment removed

  • I loved the movie.

But that music will foever haunt me.

  • I cannot believe this is not in the Best Picture race! And Leo and Kate should have been nominated for this. They were both phenomenal.

  • Go to greatmovies[DOT]tk to watch this movie and many more for free.

  • DesdemonaES: hahahahahaa greeeat jokeeee

  • hahahaha thanks !!

  • I saw the movie 2 days ago... I praise the couple fight scenes... they're really like a real couple... great movie...

  • A Masterpiece nothing else needs to be said

  • I was VERY disappointed with this movie. I guess I expected too much.

  • Titanic part 2

    jajaja

  • Did u all noticed that Leo and Kate are together in this movie exactly ten years after Titanic.

    1998 - 2008

    Was it predicted?

Anyway, Titanic and Revolutionary Road... 2 great movies!

  • This movie should be retitled: "WHITE PEOPLE PROBLEMS" The tag line will read: "WAHH!! We're hot, we have money, great kids, a big-ass house, and a stable income! WAHH! "

  • Actually...you are discriminating white people now. Did you know that?

Have you actually read Yates' novel?

  • It was mostly a comment made in jest, but if you'd like to take a look at people with real problems during that era, I can start a long list for ya. Some of the entries will include police dogs and water hoses, to start.

  • Non-white people don't have a monopoly on suffering. Physical suffering is one thing, emotional torment is far more destructive. However the level of emotional suffering is not objective, and thus once one either goes through the physical and winds up in the emotional or skips the first step and heads right for the end, the suffering is no longer quantifiable. While people in Africa suffer physically and mentally, I would argue that kate's character suffers equally . . .

  • Suffering is the universal of the human condition. However it is once the particulate exceeds the universal that he truly understands the breadth of the absurd; understands the fear and trembling. Those who deny such do not want to accept the absurd, they do not want to acknowledge their ultimate freedom, they do not want to believe they are condemned to be free in purposelessness. Humanity is Sisyphus, and Sisyphus is Humanity. So yes, rich white people can suffer, as does our species.

  • an american upper-class woman suffers as much as a starving family in Africa? And where the hell did Africa come from? I made no mention of the continent. Jesus, dude. Show me a movie where Kate's character has to camp out for a week in the Kalahari with zero food and we'll see what real suffering is.

  • My point was that physical suffering is different from emotional suffering. The physical almost always leads to the emotional, but is not a prerequisite. Once the suffering is emotional is becomes subjective and is no longer quantifiable. Once in the realm of the emotional torment, suffering is equal. I just find it quite naive when people say that those born into wealth cannot suffer. Life isn't about money, and thus even those who have it can suffer through the absurd in much the same way.

  • An african mother watching her infant die of starvation vs a woman who can't make it to Paris. Yeah...you're right. The latter definitely outdoes the former in emotional torment.

  • Perhaps you should enrich your literary breadth by reading some relatively modern philosophy. Perhaps 'notes from the underground' would suit the occasion. It's awkward debating someone speaking in a purely colloquial level when I am speaking metaphysically. I'm not talking about the literary events of the film, I'm talking about the themes in relation to nihilism and things that can be drawn from these in relation to modern philosophical thought.

  • I think there's something more to it. White culture in those

days, and still, is a trap we create for ourselves. The concept is intriguing because it's based off of self loathing. It's less obvious, but compelling because of it.

But I do understand where you're coming from.

  • what time is this set?

  • 1950s

  • amazing

this movie deserves to be nominated for at like 5 oscars

  • om eerlijk te zijn vond ik het een wazige film, had er veel meer van verwacht

  • The end made me tear

  • the end of the movie or the end of the trailer?

  • movie

  • Leo preserves his I.Q. before its too late by wearing a hat.

    Is it a revolutionary act?

Nice and practical anyway, he wont sink into Alzheimer by a frost damaged brain, than those "smart" political assholes who demo their torpid simpletonness by wearing nothing to protect their already miserably low I.Q.-ed brain.

The price of a frosted PC battery replacement woke up these "minds":

  • loeo's face on 1:17 is so touching

  • this movie was absolutley outstanding. I was extremely impressed. DiCaprio and Winslet have amazing chemistry, and I am a big fan of both. I reccomend this movie to everyone.

  • That was an Amazing Movie, Brilliant Acting by both of them

  • BRILLIANT MOVIE, just brilliant

  • Me he decepcionado en las nominaciones de los Oscar al no estar Revolutionary Road nominada como Mejor Pelicula y Leonardo Dicaprio como mejor actor

  • I think it looks good because of the plot. It's everything I believe, and I'm glad there's a movie about it. It looks good. I could care less that they're in Titanic.

  • can i just say ive been waiting for this movie for a year and half to come out now and i saw it today (yay:)) and can i just say this movie was so moving! i mean everyone actress and actor were so well protrayed in this movie..it seriusly a must see..leo and kate chemistry together was amazing!

  • See the real movie plus more for free go to greatmovies(DOT)tk

  • Leo and Kate are both phenomenal. Great movie.

  • I saw this movie yesterday! soo good! My mom said it reminded her a lot of her childhood in that time period. Everyone was living in this horrible fantasy world while smoking and drinking excessively.

  • they smoked alot in this movie

  • That looks quite depressing

  • I want to see this movie ! :D

Love leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet

    It's seemes like a nice movie !

  • that song sucks
