My point was that physical suffering is different from emotional suffering. The physical almost always leads to the emotional, but is not a prerequisite. Once the suffering is emotional is becomes subjective and is no longer quantifiable. Once in the realm of the emotional torment, suffering is equal. I just find it quite naive when people say that those born into wealth cannot suffer. Life isn't about money, and thus even those who have it can suffer through the absurd in much the same way.
