Is the point of this to show that he was offside? If so, he wasn't.

NHL rule 83.1: "a player actually controlling the puck who shall cross the line ahead of the puck shall not be considered off-side..."

@lzfan88 I haven't, but i've seen players do it while skating backwards and called for offside.
