  • THIS is music. old spiritual happy harmony classic rockn roll that makes you smile and sing along. I could listen to this all day

  • creedence rocks man!

  • to all u tina turner fans , this is how it should sound . wicked band

  • Thanks to my two older brothers, I grew up with this band. I was about 6 and they used to listen to and sing these songs. I think I've had the words to them floating around in my head for 47 yrs. Laying dormant until I hear one, then it all comes back. Same with the Beatles. They are both great in their own right. And neither one could do the others songs. You really can't compare ANY two bands. Unless one is TRYING to imitate the other. Music back then was just that, MUSIC. Not today.

  • back to my high school years I love it

  • I knew this guy once who died...

It was all very sad but then he did the best thing ever

he requested this song be played at his funeral while he's in the Hearse

he was a bit weird like that...

I'll always have this great image of me and my mum in the car behind this hearse playing Proud Mary on full blast.

  • beatles and CCR are nothing alike whatsoever...

  • sorry,its playbac????

  • All artist mentioned/....Beatles, CCR...Doobies...are all different and

not one better than the other...they made their own history without

crossing...each other....Beatles..wrote and performed the most songs..

so they sustain..something that other artist to this day..have not done..and this is without

mixing or high pseudo..electonics.....All these artist..have merits..that you can say...one is better than the other....

  • @rogeralexander7 Amen to that..

  • The beatles were more of a teenage-icon. CCR made better music. Case closed.

  • Comment removed

  • I think it's "Rolling on THE river "... But that's not a problem !!!

  • @Blackstar79400 You think incorrectly... But that's not a problem !!!

  • thank god for punk rock,oi,and ska.

  • some music just never dies this is a classic :)))

  • Can you turn the radio off? I've had a hard night and I hate the fucking Eagles man! The dude abides man

  • The properity of CCR is immeasurable!

  • The current count is 18 die-hard Justin Bieber fans

  • I know it dates me. I saw CCR live in 1969 at Mile High stadium in Denver along with Jimi Hendrix, Three Dog Night, and Poco. They did Proud Mary and Bad Moon Rising which stole the show as there was a full moon that night. They were amazing!

  • @eyeugrad1 ......It dates you? It also makes you the envy of 99% of the viewers! What a great line up! That would be a show to remember.

  • i love this song

  • THe Beatles and CCR are two entirely different types of band. CCR was harder, more folk rock, the Beatles were skiffle then psychedelic and rock ballads. AND, George Harrison was good friends with John Fogerty and played with him at the Palomino club with Bob Dylan and taj Mahal justt for fun. they're both important bands in their own right and they never compared themselves to eachother so why should we? what band is 'Better' is based on personal taste in music not capability of the bands

  • @4FabBEATLES i agree, i am a beatle and ccr fan, so why we compare both bands? every people has their own taste of music..we dont need to say who's the best, we all know that both of them are the best.

  • @shytypeable so true you can't really debate who is the best from back then with so many good bands and so much good music. I feel the beatles might be the best cause they not only changed music, but they changed the way people grew hair (some will argue they started long hair). They made pop music into something real, not the JOKE pop music is today. I hate music today really (and im only 31 years old). There will ever by any pop music like the beatles again, and rock and roll like CCR is dead

  • why the fuck should u have to choose between the beatles and ccr?

  • They really sang a lot better than The Beatles!!!!!!!!!!!!Great Song and Great Vocals

  • É MUITO FACILDISTINGUIR IDIOTAS E SABIOS,SABIOS TIRA DO IMPROVAVEL COISAS ESPANTOSAS,OS TOLOS FALAM E JAMAIS PODE TIRAR DE COISA ALGUMA ATÉ MESMO AQUILO QUE É PROVAVELVEJO OS RIDICULOS DA CRITICA SEM CONHECIMENTOFALAR DE COISAS QUE ATÉ UM JUMENTO FARIA,HEHHEHE,A TECNOLOGIA,TIROU DOS [ESPERTALHÕES A CRIATIVIDADE]MAS A FALTA DELA A MUITO TEMPO ATRAS FEZ COM QUE OS SABIOS SE DESTACASSEM,E JAMAIS FOSSEM SUPERADOS!!DA-LHES CREEDENCE,E DEXA OS IDIOTAS FALAREM;,

  • People, this IS the actual recording. Look at the end where they all stop playing at different times, but the music fades out and the crowd starts cheering to cover it... Watch specifically the drummer, you can hear another snare hit after he's already stopped playing. That's why you derps think it sounds so good

  • grew up on this kind of music luv this shit good in my books

  • i like a band that can actually sing well live this one nails it

  • This song is so chill

  • Com toda a tecnologia de hoje, os grupos não chegam nem aos pés !

    Aprendeu restart !

  • I love how this sounds the same as the actual recording. Too bad pretty much none of the artists today can do that : /

  • awesome

  • that is rock...

  • This is real talent to sing, none of that auto tune shit ( justin fagiber)

  • @elmaster110 i only liked your comment because of the "fagiber" lol

  • oh yeah...wallah

  • Rock on CCR

  • the way he says turning and burning...make me love it more xD

  • the way he says turbning and burning...make me love it more xD

  • Download the audio from this track at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • How can people dislike this ? Theyres monitors must be up side down...(:

  • @SuperAccadacca nahh, they heard this song, started to orgasm and their violent spasming caused them to accidently hit the dislike button when they meant to hit the like. that, or their deaf.

  • Posting a comment containing expletives is indicative of an individual who has a more limited and less articulate and sophisticated manner of expression. Creedence Clearwater Revival's music is truly classic and deserving of a trifle more linguistic effort and a sense of respectful awe.

  • Oh Lord, it is truly rock 'n roll!!!!

  • CCR is awesome, but did anyone else notice that they are not really playing this "live". You can see them miss a few notes and then start playing over the recorded music..

  • My father (bless his soul he's now passed away) used to love the guitar in this tune!

  • oh man...this is music..period..

  • Just came back from a South Pacific cruise. I'd walk into the guitar player lounge and the next song would be this version of Proud Mary. Even without my husband with me, I'd dance, No one else would. The guitar player - Gary T'To - liked that. It's my dancing song.

  • listened to this while on the tug/barge MV Columbia. up an down the Mississippi 2005. My merchant seamen apprenticeship out of Piney Point,Md . Class 667 stand up!

  • se la mamo al fogerty

  • of the classic like much

  • I personally dont like the Beatles but they hardly sucked. four great musicians who brought happiness too many people. I just dont like what they do. but just because you dont like them it doesnt mean that you can just saythey suck fullstop as queenbeatleswings says not a fair comparison two completely different bands.

  • "People on the river are happy to give". :-)

  • this guys did not need playback...really were musicians

  • Rollin'...Rollin'...Rollin' up a doobie

  • @toobularbells Don't forget to bring a towel :D

  • Tina tuner with her pair of nice legs gave some groovie to this song, but the original is way much better.

  • 15 people not rolling on the river...

  • @TioToicim they sank, hehe

  • Fogerty is one of the greatest vocalists ever in my opinion

  • CCR WAS SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN THE BEATLES IN MY BOOKS!!!, THESE SONGS ARE CLASSICS!

  • @73gboy easy my friend, we talking about two different kinds of brilliance.

  • @73gboy hold it there man, CCR is good but the fact the Beatles were more popular world wide. the music is two different genres.

  • @WW2frontline I never Liked The Beatles, Listening to their music is like trying to drink from a firehose, I just cant & couldn't get into their stuff, all the power to them for all they acheived, but CCR was never given the proper respect or accolades, hey everybody has a opinion...2 different genres brutha i guess like u say....

  • @73gboy thats an interesting way to put it, to me it's kinda opposite, but I agree with you both bands deserve respect

  • @73gboy I dont think its really a fair comparison. The Beatles were more of a phsycadellc pop group later while CCR was harder, heavier rock

  • @QueenBeatlesWings While the Beatles did some psychedelic music, they were not a primarily psychedelic band. They were a rock and roll band!

  • @73gboy Yeah, the Beatles sucked.

  • @73gboy they both were great bands. john fogerty was just a good of writer as lennon/mccartney

  • @73gboy It's two totally different genres, you fail.

  • @73gboy In your books maybe, but I don't like the author......

In MY books both CCR and The Beatles are great. I like the author better.

  • @73gboy they both rock as hard in my book

  • @73gboy I like em both

  • @73gboy How can you even compare the two! toatally different music and without the beatles ccr wouldve been

  • @73gboy you cant compare them to the beatles. the beatles paved the way for them and many other great bands.
