My 2005 QuadCab SRT-10 can average 15 mpg,when driven properly.And run 13 .0's in the 1/4,stock with traction bars and still spins ..Not fast you say !! For 5,300 lbs it hauls,faster than 96% of the cars on the road today !!

Looks like an El Camino so i dont know how its considired a truck. Id still consider it a car but you gotta go by what it says on registration which means its a truck. My Durango averages 13.5-16 MPG. I'd still drive one of these if I was able to afford the truck. lol

@cerrystyle the redzone is the redline, and well, im not sure about the srt10, but every car that ive had/driven/looked at to buy, have not had the rev limiter in the redline, most were more like 4,000rpm rev limiter, except for all stick shifts, when u are tacking up the car, it lets you hit the redline, obviously, but it also has a revlimiter there as well, but when in neutral its usually lower

Yes... i understood perfectly what u want to explain me... sometimes is difficult to believe that a car haven't a redzone or how u want to say the redline. this particulary case is when you r starting up a Diesel engine, 'cause when it is in N the rpm are very very lowers. and the most diesel trucks may have the revlimiter at 6000 or even to 4000 rpm as u said. u should see this case on a truck like this.
