Habeas corpus and jury trials are both to be replaced by the planned EU corpus juris. If our un-elected leaders on the commission (and the farce that is the EU "parliament") get their way,one day there will be an EPP (an un-elected European Public Prosecutor) who will decide who goes to jail and how long they stay there before trial !
