Well at least the radio isn't filled with cheesy oneliners in HAWX.

In HAWX 2 I might hear stuff like "Neptune 2-3, Overlord you are cleared to engage" while in Ace Combat (at least in the sixth installment) a minimum of five squadron-members will go on about having a dance with some winged broad (or was it an angel?) at least ten times during a mission.

Believe me, the dancing with angels line will get boring when repeated 10 bazillion times especially when also repeated by fans.

If AC can transcend the tools of campaign to MP, then AC would be the best Air Combat game. After playing the demo I dug out my copy of Hawx, and I have to say Hawx 2 felt more like an expansion pack or DLC rather than a genuine sequel. Nothing's really changed or advanced technically or gameplay wise that couldn't have been done through DLC and a patch. Hawx 2 certainly doesn't warrant a full price tag.
