The people in the background are the strike force that Warthog was going to use to kill Calypso if Calypso didn't give him the box. The strike force was dead there so Warthog had no back up and he drove off.

The box is the recorded message of an airplane that saw a UFO, aliens. The box was proof that aliens existed which means it would've thrown the world into chaos.

Well for me, the endings are pretty alright except one thing: If these videos were put in the game, then it would alter the Twisted Metal timeline. And some of the endings aren't like they were in the original game, like Spectre (Scott), he wished to be alive again and in the video version Calypso killed him after he came back to life, in the original game, he comes back to life and doesn't get shot by Calypso.

Have to agree with you there. What is funny about TM... It isn't real! Its a connected dream world. Let me explain, everyone who fights in this "Tournament" is actually a person who went into a coma! Proof? Watch Roadkill's ending in Twisted Metal 2. He wakes up after winning the tournament. Doctors go over to him and say that they thought he would never wake up. Sad part is when Roadkill looks around, he sees the other combatants laying in beds, in a coma!!

@acetahu333 your nuts roadkill is probably the only one in a come play them all most of the time the driver is marcus kane and if it wasnt clear in 2 it was perfectly clear in black that this whole tournament is inside marcus head from haveing a fucked up life and his personality split into needles kane (sweet tooth) he was only waking up from his split personality. he went nuts when he was young when his father and brother were in a taxi (yellow jacket) and his father got his brain blown out.

Warthog came to get the box, Calypso talks about how people knowing its secrete would be more interesting. Warthog threatens Calypso, and Calypso reveals that he killed the team that was sent in case he didn't cooperate with handing the box over, and Warthog leaves without the box it seems.

Hmm.. This isn't such a bad ending compared to a lot of the other ones. For the exception that he loses his strike team and doesn't get the box. I'd rank it 3rd, but I haven't seen them all. I think the only one I missed was Sweet Tooth, so this will be at least 4th, assuming his is a "good" ending.
