code geass was the best anime ever. sure naruto, bleach, and maybe onepiece r great, but true, it is 2 fucking long. i almost quit them before. code geass would have been better if it had a third season. it had everything, it made u think, it had fan service, drama, action, excitement, everything an anime series needed except it killed maybe too many main characters.

In this show, the power that is used is called Geass, and yes that is him using Geass there.

Naruto doesn't have a sharingan, I don't think (I'm not a big fan of the show) but if you want to see sharingans, you watch the show called "Naruto". It's Kakashi and Sasuke who have sharingans in that, I think, besides a few other characters. But, Naruto's way too popular, try to watch animes, such as this one, which don't get as much attention, but are still amazing. Death Note, Vampire Knight, anything by CLAMP(CLAMP are a group of manga artists), D. Gray Man, I'd recommend those.

the only animes i've watched were ^Death Note and Afro Samurai. But i watched them because they aired in the TV, I didnt even know it was an anime. I watched everysingle episode and they were really good. is Afro Samurai also from Clamp?

I think not. An anime is from CLAMP if:

males have loger limbs, legs,arms

Seem to be tall

women have very nice hairstyles

usually long hair (women)

Involves some kind of magic

XXXHolic, Tsubasa Chronicle, Chobits. Cardcaptor Sakura are famous CLAMP works. Code Geass is also included because of the character designs and SUNRISE for mecha designs (Gundam SEED)

Yup, what animegen00 said. CLAMP are really good, but I'd recommend you read/watch some other manga/anime before you take on their stuff, so you can get used to manga plots, honorifics, etc, because CLAMP have a reputation for being unnecessarily complicated.

Geass is a power granted to Lelouch by a mysterious girl called CC, which means that when he has direct eye contact with someone, he can make them do what ever he pleases, but can only be used on each person once.

i dont really like those drawings, the only ones i like that i've seen so far are Afro Samurai, Death Note and Shigurui. The drawings are so good compared to other animes.

Yeah, Death Note and Afro Samurai have exceptionally good art... but while still being animes, they're not as anime-ish as the others. When I recommended the other series, I was referring to the story-lines rather than the art.

Takeshi Obata illustrates the Death Note manga, while Tsugumi Ohba writes the story-line. I'm not exactly sure who wrote the Afro Samurai and Shigurui, but if you Wikipedia them, I'm sure it'll say.

Exactly! One example would be Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When They Cry). The character designs were not as good and animation quality was a little substandard but the story drove me to watching it since it's mystery and horror - a rare genre for anime.

Yeah, most animes have the genre of either high school or action, as in ninjas, samurai, etc. With the exception of Bleach and Naruto, the most popular animes nowadays are the ones that don't revolve around those genres.

I'd rather watch anime which is shorter (around 26 episodes) Like Gurren Lagann and Clannad After Story. They're shrt but a lot of things is happening.

Well, I don't really mind how long an anime is, just as long as you know what the ending is going to achieve (With Code Geass, obviously, it would end with some form of peace, with Fruits Basket, it's going to end with the curse breaking, you know...), but with Naruto... what are they actually building up towards?! The whole series seems to be just piling up climaxes that are just leading to another climax, and you have no idea what the series is attempting to achieve. Same with Bleach and OP.

Detective Conan is ridiculously long. I can't be bothered to read 600+ chapters about a kid solving cheesy murder mysteries, when you know how it's all gonna end.

Fruits Basket massacred the chance of a second season with the ending Akito scene.

Tsubasa, I think, is planned perfectly. It's complicated, damn right, but we've got a kind of list that branches off itself, but doesn't twist with the enemies and heroes... the plot is twisted, but not without good reason. TRC is my personal fandom!

Nicely done. I now see that I'm not the only one who's thought of extending show openings.

Unlike myself, you were able to use all op images without having to use episode images so that's very nice. Some of the scenes you slowed down were a little weird but since you had to make sure it all fit into a single song the effect didn't get annoying.

I myself thought this was the best op theme of the first season (the tenacity of the words is more akin to the show than the calm of Colors).
