why do you put "...jquery-1.2.3.min.js" at the beginning? is it necessary to have that there?

@geriyeri30 You have to have that there as it is adding the JQuery core scripts to run various javascript dependent on JQuery, etc.

@geriyeri30 Because jQuery is a library. Basically, jQuery is written in JavaScript but makes it easier by creating objects like $ and stuff. For example, to get an element in traditional JavaScript is document.getElementById('hi') but in jQuery its simply $('#hi')
