I just noticed something. One minute Ash is on the beach, the next he's with the band out in the middle of the ocean. How did he move so fast to his friends?
Something I don't understand is, Barnacolis is supposed to be protector of the city. Why does he want to destroy it instead of going to get the stolen instruments himself? Or at least give the mermaids other ones?
this is a show I used to watch..I remember every saturday wondering which videos they would play and when duran2 played.. omg.. I remember sitting watching the tv, clapping and smiling that it was duran duran.. too funny.. this show gave the cartoon, videos and live performance that all young teens wanted.. but do you realize the only person who never continued to work was "carla"
I want to spend my winter break in Lotus Land! And I want to ride around on a huge Sea Dragon and sing with the Mermaids who sound like Humpback Whales!
heh i don't think anyone really paid any attention to the meanings of songs, remember back then cartoons got away with a lot of stuff like violence and sexual meanings and stuff
Admittedly this I wasn't even born when the show made its debut, however one thing I love from watching this show would be the type of synthesizers they're using for the show.
What's really awesome about this cartoon is the live action music video the band did at the end of each episode- and all the cool 1980s songs used throughout the show! Awesome!
Kidd Video followed by Mr. T and then Going Bananas? Man, those were the days.
