What is ur BRIDGE pickup? NECK pickup?

What is ur PREAMP FX? DISTORTION FX? What is their order in d chain? With ur pickups, what is the EQ setting on ur FX?

What r ur REVERB, DELAY settings & CHORUS/MODULATION if any?

My pickups r DiMarzio Evolution (Bridge) and DiMarzio FRED (Neck). I'm currently programming my BOSS GT-3 to get that sound & studying that song for our band practice.

JP switches pickups when he crosses the 12th fret.

I cant play guitar anymore since drove car accident at your age and my hands paralyzed partially.

Never heard of John Petrucci until I came across this in your profile Anthony ... I've since bought his solo album and a handful of Dream Theater albums ... basically on the strength of this piece you've done!

Now I've heard the original in full production, I can (obviously?!) hear the odd differences ... but ... I can't help ut feel there's something missing from the original! Your version is much crisper, simpler ... definately stands on it's own.

the intro part, the main theme. Think, Tri-pul-it. They're triplet's. Four of them in a measure, makes 12/8. I mean you could write it in 4/4, but symantically, it would make more sense to write it in 12/8, gives it that "/8" bouncy feel.

YES. lol, perfect. Like ok in 4/4 time, a triplet is 3 notes in one beat. So you CAN fit 12 notes in 4/4, but in writing, it flows better in 12/8. When you hear the intro, you tap your foot once every 3 notes.  1DaDaDa-2DaDaDa-3DaDaDa-4DaDaD­a. Get it better, a bit?
