This doesn't much change the fact that you are making the distinction between happy hardcore, hardcore, gabber, and the other genres that many of the UK DJs go between with some fluidity without using any technical terminology that distinguishes them as different genres. You're no better than anyone else for your attempt at elitism.

@ThePixieToast- this isn't happy hardcore though, this falls under no category in any hard dance genre. Even branches of genre's. The idea of darran styles being a 'warm welcome' is very true. As real hardcore started to decline somewhere around 2006 onwards, they figure headed people like styles to pull in younger ''ravers'' and screaming girls to boost the numbers. I can only articulate into the fact that as of now hardcore is starting to come back around with the help of lethal theory.

have to but into this arguament iv been into hardcore since 1991 been to loads of the biggest events the uk has offered in my time but i fell outa love with it in about 2000, iv recently got back into hardcore because its gone friggin awesome and darren styles is making some good tracks that contribute to a goodnight out, anyways i remeber going to hardcore nights back in the day and they were like gayclubs! at least theres plenty a chiks there now, if only for that im glad! ;-)
