Yeah, we were an agrarian society back at our founding, so no, the concept of modern healthcare was not thought of when the Constitution was written. However, the Bill of Rights does say that all rights and powers not specifically mentioned are reserved for the people or the States, accordingly. It's called the tenth ammendment. To me this means that yes, healthcare is a right, but it's something the federal government needs to help the States work out, as opposed to doing it themselves.

Greece- practically a developing country, recognized by the EU for consistently failing to meet its infrastructure and economic standards. Nice try Beck why don't you try looking at any of the Scandinavian countries i.e. Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway and tell us their system does not work. They are consistently ranked the most efficient, business friendly economies in the world.
