Y'know the carcacal is a very rare cat. Jackals constantly harass larger predators than them like in this video, the caracal is a little bigger than the persistent agile jackals. Being bitten on the rear isn't a comfortable place to be bitten although it may not look painful in this video. Jackals are very very busy dogs that must constantly keep hunting for their pups sake, so they must keep scavenging. Also a single black-backed-jackal are Capable of killing an impala majestic predator. <3

Although it has traditionally had the alternative names Persian Lynx, Egyptian Lynx and African Lynx, it is no longer considered to be an actual lynx. Instead, it is now believed to be closely related to the African golden cat and the Serval.

Hi Norminay, no I didn't see the kill but a Caracal isn't a scavenger and Jackals don't kill Badeard Foxes and the Caracal was very agressive to get his prey back so he must be the killer of the Badeard Fox.

I think a 3rd a party (animal - ha ha) killed the fox. The Caracal looked like it just woke up and didn't know why the jackals were messing with it at first, and only later saw them by the fox and ran over with resolute purpose.
