The language you use in your explanation is more complicated that the basic grammatical points that you are talking about. "I prefer books" and the inaccurate explanation is "it just means in general, in most situations, you like books compared with watching television as we mentioned ..." does that mean that there are some situations where you say, "I prefer books" and you like watching TV better? Why not prepare decent, clear explanations instead of just winging it.
@Apalon99 Он американец, хочешь говорить с американ аксент - научись так же. А болтает про то, как выразить предпочтения чего-то чему-то в разной форме (я предпочитаю / я бы предпочёл и тп.).
@cup6888 When someone asks you "Do you...", and if your answer is yes, then that means you like rock music over other genres. When someone asks you "would..." that means there is some context there, such as that you are trying to decide what music to play in a party. You could answer no, even you prefer rock and answer yes to the 1st question, because rock doesn't fit your party.
I have not seen any of your other videos, but I'm assuming you are trying to teach people proper grammar, and you could probably point out many things wrong with mine. (I do not care) Honestly; I hate grammar Nazis. If we never change the way we speak; we'll never change the way we think. Languages are constantly evolving and should continue to do so. What difference does it make as long as the context is clear? Knowing the proper use is great, but don't think that you always have to use it.
