@PublicWifi In my opinion, none of the sequels are faithful to the original. both ironsword and Wizrds and Warriors III have kinda lame graphics in comparison, and the music is REALLY butchered down. and it doesnt have the same feeling as the first one at all. The original had some of the best music on the NES.

Too bad there wasn't a 4th game to this. It's like we're left on a cliffhanger when it shows Kuros traveling through time to the year 2191. Even so, you gotta wonder what it would be like for a knight to seek his journey from the 14th Century to the 23rd Century(since it's in sync to the year the game was released). *sigh*...I guess we'll never know.

when i was 7-8 i did not know how to do this game.. when i was 11 ibeat this game for the first time :D

it is kind of funny.. but i dont know how you can kill that boss with the thief XD i always use curos :D

i thought it was funny how you skipped the 2nd and third knights! also you running through the dungeons was hilarious! i used to play this when i was a kid and always was "scared" in there, i'd fall and stuff all the time. and how you kill the creatures for the thief statues is also awesome, lol. i remember playing this game for days trying to figure it out (and leaving it on pause when i went to school). good times!

I was always annoyed by one thing in this game. If Kuros attacked anything, it'd just flash for a second and come right back at you. If anything attacked Kuros, he'd be knocked off his feet, fall flat on his ass, and be stunned for a few seconds. Even worse, if he was killed, he has a spastic tantrum, then just lies there. Some hero.

Yeah, very stupid ending. But I guess it's just that Kuros travelled into the future (to 2191) after defeating Malkil. :P
