You obviously have no idea what the hell Guitar Hero is then. GH is played with a guitar shaped controller, the colors on the screen are played by pressing down the corresponding button while pressing down on the strum bar on the controller. There are many techniques a person can use such as hammer ons and pull offs, tremolo picking, hell, the controller even has a whammy bar on it.
The only thing you're almost 3% right about is that this game has nothing to do with guitar.

Actually just started learning this one too. I'm a guitarist, played guitar hero, it was actually not as hard as everyone says it is. Just like any video game, you have to get used to the controls. After you learn what the colored buttons to fingers are and how to PICK (lmao the one bar) it's actually pretty fun but still not as difficult as actual guitar.
People with this game forget about palm muting, using the whammy bar with screams and harmonics, chords, actually having to shred up and down the frets at lightning speed, an actual pick etc... Definately a "bit" harder on guitar. It's like saying playing tony hawk pro skater ## is harder than actually doing it in real life. Life > Videogames but sometimes videogames > life at being fun lmao.
Two totally different skill requirements and technical levels for each.

GH is played with a guitar shaped controller, the colors on the screen are played by pressing down the corresponding button while pressing down on the strum bar on the controller. There are many techniques a person can use such as hammer ons and pull offs, tremolo picking, hell, the controller even has a whammy bar on it.
The only thing you're almost 3% right about is that this game has nothing to do with guitar.

alright dumbass. Number 1: it has 5 fuckin buttons, learn how to count. Number 2: when u describe it as dots coming onto the screen of course it seems like a child made it. But anyway, when the "dots come onto the screen" u have to hit a strum bar. Meaning that this game would probably require far to much cordination for you. And it does have nothing to do with real guitar, but is anyone argueing that point?

dude, it looks really stupid but wtf, if you play like gears of war you do the same thing, press coloured buttons to do stuff. And as a fact gh is very good for exercising wrists and makes you more persistant when playing fast riffs on real guitar

you can pull off 4 octaves on a 24 fret.
low e open-12
low e 12-24
high e open-12
high e 12-24
so technically you can play 4 of any note, and 5 e's.

It's funny you should say that, zTuchez. I can play inferno on the real guitar but i'd probably hit two notes right on guitar hero. It does take SKILL to play guitar hero. Playing guitar hero and playing guitar are completely different. Sure theres some semblance of what a guitar feels like but just a game, if guitar hero was as hard as playing guitar no one would ever play it. It would take them 6 months just to fret a note properly.

Actually just started learning this one too. I'm a guitarist, played guitar hero, it was actually not as hard as everyone says it is. Just like any video game, you have to get used to the controls. After you learn what the colored buttons to fingers are and how to PICK (lmao the one bar) it's actually pretty fun but still not as difficult as actual guitar.

People with this game forget about palm muting, using the whammy bar with screams and harmonics, chords, actually having to shred up and down the frets at lightning speed, an actual pick etc... Definately a "bit" harder on guitar. It's like saying playing tony hawk pro skater ## is harder than actually doing it in real life. Life > Videogames but sometimes videogames > life at being fun lmao.
Two totally different skill requirements and technical levels for each.
