    Here's how I made mine, more towards martial arts hammer - tho I'm interested in performance arts too. The one I made is approx. 3,6meter long, 10mm rope meteor hammer, end weight being around 300grams, though very easily adjustable. If you're more towards muscle training (gives you pretty good burn to back, bicep/triceps/forearms and ofc core also since the meteor hammer is pretty heavy.

    Cost is only few euros. It depends on how much you want to spend on spinning rope tho
