Well, that is pure tube distortion, not at it's best in my opinion, and the amp was barely even being pushed so it didn't get as nice as it could have. The camera doesn't do much for it either, but no, you will never get tube distortion from a solidsate, or even a valvestate amp. Nor will you get it from any similar pedals. Only a Jackson, with EMG's and a Peavey tube amp will get you that sound if that's what you want.
