  • Does razer got a wireless keyboard product?

  • i might buy it but i have a question, for the gaming mode can you switch the keys to light up, i ask this because i dont really play alot of games that use wasd, i play a game that uses qwer alot, can i switch them?

  • i have this keyboard too, i love it <3 the only thing i dont like, is that it randomly disconnects... like 3 times in 100hrs... :3

  • You left out the part where you mention it constantly sticks and you have to unplug it.

After you get killed in your game and spend 5 minutes digging behind your computer to find the cord of course.

What a piece of shit. If your thinking about buying one of these, dont. I didnt heed others warnings and now I have to unplug this thing at least once every hour.

It would be nice if Razer would just fix their fucking drivers and stop being the Zellers Jewellery of computer companies.

  • the only difference is arctosa does not have led xD

  • This is a terrible keyboard, I'm using it now and I can't wait to replace it. The backlights never stay on for more than 5 minutes at at time then I have to cycle through the touchpad several times to get them back on again. Also the buttons randomly stop working. Yeah. Awesome.

  • Biggest POS keyboard on the market. 3 replacements later.... and I got a blackwidow for a replacement instead. Unfortunately it sucks too, but w/e.

  • So you have the Lycosa with ruberised keys and their still fine? I've heard horror stories of it coming off after a few weeks.

  • How is the rubber on the keybaord doing ? is it still in tact ? or did it peel off ?

  • Hi, is it easy to remove the wrist rest ? Or we have to break things ? Is it normal to be abble to remove it ? Thanks a lot :)

  • @RaphaelH1427 There are no worries in removing the wrist rest. It takes a little force, but it is nowhere difficult enough to start breaking or scratching things.

  • What makes me regret buying that keyboard? I'm on my 2nd replacement.

  • I know this is old but, I am considering to buy this. Is it still good? Are there any other ones like this with also Back Lit keys and Macro keys?

  • @backhand630 Mine is still good as I use it at work right now. It has been almost three years now. I would recommend the Mirror version, as the rubber coating may wear off after frequent use.

  • @chungortam So this still works good? Cause I have seen other reviews of it that are bad. Is it easy to damage?

  • @backhand630 All Razer shit is easy to damage. Its cheap overpriced junk.

  • @backhand630 For Razer, IIRC all keyboards feature macro keys and only the Arctosa and non-ultimate Blackwidow doesn't have backlit keys.

  • hey there :) i've watched your lycosa video and it helped me a lot to choose a good keyboard for me! :) just one question what do you recommend me more to get like lycosa or lycosa mirror ? oh and i heared that lycosa mirror has stronger lights is it truth?

  • Comment removed

  • hi, ive seen some videos of the lycosa keys 'deforming' and i wondet if that will happen with me. i have hyperhidrosis (google it)

  • @ViperSnake52

Hey there. My hands sweat a lot too. The keys did not deform (didn't sink in, etc.), but the rubber coating would peel off.

  • can i change the color of the lights?

  • @Kebabmies1001 Unfortunately no.

  • Actually, the keys aren't that easy to remove and whatnot. I tried removing my spacebar to clean underneath it, and now it wobbles from side to side. I need a new one :L

Also, occasionally, two keys will stop working. I'll have to unplug it and plug it back in, which is awful in FPS's because I usually always die during that time if it's any of the WASD keys.

And sometimes it'll just run me in one direction unexplained.

  • @Lucario1211 yeah that's a known issue...RMA it. no guarantee that the RMA replacement will be much different though...the lycosa is the most unreliable product that razer makes bar none

  • @Lucario1211 the spacebar thing isn't something that you need to get replaced. it needs to be put back on properly, which can be very hard and i nearly threw the keyboard at a wall in frustration.

now that freezing keys issue, i had too but for whatever reason it went away. things I did that may have fixed it:

put a dime on the touchpad (on the razer logo) (it actually does work, google why)

    plug into a different port

make sure you're using the latest drivers

  • @OriginalZero Yeah, I figured it out a while ago. Thanks though!

  • @Lucario1211 nice. hope you're enjoying your lycosa as much as me!

  • Is this a flat panel keyboard ?

  • would be awesome to have keyboard whichs keys would flashlight when you press the key for an example if i would press S the key would flash green light.

  • How does this compare to the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate? Are the keys fast and comfortable enough to type without being mechanical keys?

  • @TheAndrenator Good timing to ask! I just bought the Blackwidow a week ago.

The feeling is different. Lycosa is WAY quieter, and the response from it is weaker. It is also much thinner + lighter than BW, and the travelling distance of the keys are more shallow. However these haven't been a problem to me. It is comfortable still.

I must say the BW feels great in comparison, but because it's too loud and lovely lol, I leave it at home and use the Lycosa at work.

  • Hi, I might be considering this keyboard, what's really important to me is if it has a shallow keystroke, like a dell laptop, for example. What's the keystroke like on this? Thanks :)

  • @pennicles94 There's a big difference between it and my Dell Inspiron laptop's keyboard. I'd say the Lycosa keys go twice as deep.

As for the response, it feels way more responsive than the previous keyboards I've used (an HP that came along with the comp, and an Apple one; neither were mechanical btw so I couldn't compare.)

  • @chungortam Thanks for the fast response! This has really helped me, I'll probably look around some more for a more laptop style keyboard that's suitable for gaming, otherwise, i'll just go for this. Thanks again :)

  • is it possible to illuminte certain keys only? (for example instead of wasd i would just illuminate my name...just for fun :D)??

ALSO play/pause/next and previous song does not work if im not on the itunes window :( what can i do??

  • @RiKKuXd28 Nah that's not possible without modding it yourself (which is something too complicated for me).

In the software, you simply select iTunes. However, that means the others won't be compatible unless you're on its window.

  • used to love that keyboard, but then the touchpad broke , light going on and off al the time , keys jamming , and stuff, and it was all normal for that keayboard, the problem was known to razer , a lot of ppl had it , so overall the best keyboard for typing but the touchpad sux

  • Im thinking about buying this keyboard but just the mirror edition, i was wondering how is the keyboard doing right now after about 2 years.. ive heard people saying the keys die out. Like the response and then you have to restart you computer to get it working again.. is this true?

  • @hamtownplaya For my keyboard, it is still working well. I experienced no problems at all functionality-wise. The lights, the touchpad / media control, numpad, everything is still working! Even the USB port, which my Lachesis mouse is connected to, continues to work flawlessly. The only untested area is the audio & mic jack.

Oh and for your info, I have taken out each key to clean the underpart twice in these two years. That didn't cause any problem.

  • @hamtownplaya i have had my keyboard for 2 years now, and for the most part its been the best by far. i do have the issue that some keys stop working sometime. but its quite a quick fix via unplugging and replugging in the usb.

  • WHAT IS WITH ALL YOU FAGGOTS PUTING MUSIC TO THESE VIDS

  • @WikiPeoples What's with all you bitches whining on youtube about the most unimportant shits lately?

  • @WikiPeoples Just turn off the music?

  • @WikiPeoples You're a retard. Just mute it if you don't like it.

  • lol why isn't space backlit

  • @chungortam i got a razer lachesis mouse first and it died in 4 days.they replace it and the new one died in 6 days....so i understand that razer cant build products that last.....so i decided to get a nice Logitech gamin keyboard and save time money and calm from shits of razer

  • @akiskapouros Interesting. The first 'higher-end' Logitech I used was the MX1000 mouse. The battery died on me after a year.

Last year, my friend chose a Logitech wireless mouse+keyboard set. A huge wave of problem affects him months after (although they still function) and I've witnessed them.

I have not had a problem with Razer, except for it's horrible rubber coating :P

Notice the video's upload date, and today's. I'm still using the same keyboard after 2 years + a Lachesis. I like them.

  • i got the new mirror edition..hehe

  • @Cristi243 Yeah, the mirror edition is alright, I've had it for a while, but I was thinking of going back to regular edition. I loved the feel of the rubber keys.

  • @xReinhartx but people say that if you use the regular edition for like 6 months the rubber keys will start pilling off...i like to do my research...lol

  • @Cristi243 Oh really? Hmm, well then. I am so confused on which keyboard to go with lol, I was thinking Logitech, or Saitek.

  • @xReinhartx no just get the Razer Lycosa mirror edition...because i am using it and i have no problems with it

  • Hello there.i saw some other videos that some ppl say that there is a problem about the rubber keys.you know that the rubber material goes away with the usage

    Is this true?

Im between getting the Lycosa or the Arctosa

  • @akiskapouros It's true if you have sweaty hands like me.

If you do get the Lycosa, the mirror edition seems like the better choice since it doesn't have the rubber coating.

  • @chungortam thank you very much i apriciate your help :)

  • @akiskapouros No problem!

BTW, why the Lycosa? Razer has a few new keyboards out (Anasi, Blackwidow & SCII's Marauder), although the Lycosa is still the cheapest. Do you like it the best out of them? :D

  • @chungortam First of all yes its the way it looks.Second and important its the price and i dont think i need all this feutures of the other keyboards

I want a goodlookin decent gaming keyboard without to spend a fortune so i guess lycosa have all those characteristics

Any problems with the touchscreen?not that im gonna use it a lot

  • @akiskapouros Ah, then you'll like the Lycosa. The touchpad? You just gotta keep in mind that a little excess fingerprints or a drop of water might mess it up a little. Just give it a swipe then things will be fine. If that doesn't fix it, reconnecting the USB will.

  • can you change colours of the keyboard like from blue to red ?

  • @PadelManiaZzZz Nope :(

  • @PadelManiaZzZz thats more alienware style x)

  • i like flaps on my keyboard too *thumbs up*

  • This will be cool so when your playing call of duty, when you hit "T" to chat, your keys will illuminate, then when you press enter, the keys go back to WASD.

Thats gonna be my first macro.

  • @dumdum987654321 what ur trying to say? waht u mean

  • @xLycosax "T" is the key to chat or type message in CoD.

He means if you're playing a fps shooter, the wasd keys light up. But when you want to type a message to friend, then all keys automatically light up so you could type your message, then when you send it and go back to the game, it only lights up wasd again :D that will be cool.

  • @chungortam yeah pretty darn cool. I got this keyboard mate!

  • @dumdum987654321 I CAN`T DO THAT CAN YOU PLS HELP ME TO DO THAT I THINK ITS A COOL IDEA

  • @dumdum987654321 if you figure out how to do this tell me!

  • Is this durable ? I've heard that it has poor build-quality and it breaks easily :( Would love one of these, but it's annoying if it breaks :/

  • @Grogrosh So far mine's working well. The only question of quality you'd have is the rubber coating.

It's the case for the side-buttons of my Lachesis too.

  • @Grogrosh a lil advice, if u can afford it, buy it, in my opinion it is ekstremely cormortable, nice typing on, same say it breakz, but that is probably only angry germans why smash it when they die etc :)

  • @Grogrosh DOn't waste ur money on Razer.. they are just Looks... not worth it trust me ...

  • the beginning of this song at the start sounds like minecraft :D

  • "fingerprints. 'nuff said." lol'd xD

  • my lycosa touchpad always goes crazy which is really annoying... i dont have the time to unplug and plug my keyboard while playing starcraft srsly

  • @maxmogus1337 Try giving it a left-to-right wipe from your thumb. Some dirt or a drop of warm water or something would screw it up sometimes.

  • i got the newer updated version and loves it just gotta clean it for not using it in awhile LOL :D

  • do u have msn or something. it would be nice to keep in touch.

  • oh, another question. when u start up your computer, the kyboard runs instantly with the bios? is it usb connection or ps2?

i have this problem with this keyboard, that freakes me out! and it's that once the bios shows up the keyboard turns on, but when it comes the boot windows, remains shut. and it turns on over again when the system loads. ahh sometimes i want to crash it. i had to buy another shitty keyboard just to boot :S

  • @Quinqui31 The Lycosa is USB. What do you mean? Describe your problem more. I think it's because your motherboard is old and it's not designed to have a USB keyboard?

  • @chungortam i don't know. i think that might be the problem, it's an asrock wolfdale 1333-d667. i bought it about 2 years ago.

i tested the keyboard in my brothers computer, and it runs perfectly, so, it's no a keyboard problem, either way i wont have this motherboard too long.

yeah i think that's the reason. it's old, and maybe it takes forever to load the usb ports.

  • @chungortam the price lies about 3000$ in my country, about 18millions Bs.

  • 3 things i love about lycosa's keyboard are:

    1. the leds only iluminates the letters. (sidewinder lights everything bellow the keys)

    2. the touchpad

    3. the material used on the keys, i read about the keyboard and it says it's smooth and soft wich it makes more confortable the typing.

  • @Quinqui31 Yeah those are all nice things about the Lycosa. If you want some unbiased experience though, I can say I wish the whole key used the same rubber material instead of it being coated on plastic. The coating can be scratched off and that's what happened to my 'N' key.

Doesn't change the fact that it's a great keyboard though.

  • @chungortam oohhh =( i thought it was all in rubber material, well either way it's great they aply this kind of implement on the keyboard.

well i fucked up 2 keys on my keyboard the S and N, but that was by smooking over it o.O

is this the only razer product you've got?

  • @Quinqui31 LOL be careful when you smoke in front of your keyboard now!

No, the Lycosa isn't my only, but it is my first. I also have a Lachesis and a Moray. The Moray is only average but the Lachesis is quite nice. I bought the Lachesis because my NZXT Avatar mouse is crap.

  • @chungortam don't have to say. if i'll buy this keyboard i even gonna try to quit smooking hahahah xD.

    i'm building a super computer.

so this will be one of the things i will buy.

i'm thinking also on buying a mousepad razer, the alpha fragged control.

i was also thinking about getting the razer imperator mouse or the logitech g500, i'll deffinitly buy the g500.

but here it's quite spensive to build up a computer. im from south america, venezuela to specify.

  • @Quinqui31 What are the specs of your comp going to be?

I wanted to build a great computer too with i7 930, Crossfire, SSDs, etc., but the cost was just too much lol

  • @chungortam well, first of all. the thermaltake amor+ mx case. Toughpower Series power supply 850w, motherboard Asus Rampage 3 Extreme Core I7 Ddr3 Usb 3.0 Sata 3, 3 hard drives about 250gb each, mmm blueray, idk wich one yet, 24gb memory ram, 2 videocards ati radeon hd 5870, 120mm fan coolers, and 3 monitors for eyefinity, i don't know wich one yet, i'm looking one with not much bezel.

  • @Quinqui31 If you don't all the space, may I suggest you replace a HDD with a SSD. It is pricey, but the load times will decrease significantly :) if I have the money, an SSD will be my next upgrade.

  • ...

  • @chungortam well i want to raid all the HD. well ehmm i'm kind of uninformed about what's a ssd xD ... i have to read a little bit more xD. weelll speaking of money jajaja. i'm kind of what we call here, limpio, sin dinero! xD i have not too much money, but i'm selling almost all my computer on MercadoLibre and some other softwares and stuffs like that to get the money. it might help to get a girlfriend hahaha i'm gonna sound like a durk, but they are helpfull monetarily sometimes

  • the problem was that, even after I clean it up, the keyboard gum (what I mean with keyboard gum, its the carpet wich allows to make contact with the printed circuit) keep moving itself, i have to press hard the keys either way they don't show up.

with this keyboard you don't have this problem right? is it more stable? more static? i'm selling my sidewinder x6 keyboard, at the end it turned's out to be a completly shit.

  • @Quinqui31 Just to clarify, you mean the piece behind the key in 1:02 of the video, correct? Then don't worry, it is fixed. Basically nothing on the keyboard is loose or movable. I believe you'll like this keyboard!

  • @chungortam yeah! that's what i meant. well i'm in love with it already. xD

i'm a hard pro gamer, so i believe this keyboard would be such a great partner xD.

by the way, nice review! it helped me out your answers too.

  • hey chungortam, i've got a question and some doubt's i don't know if you ever used the microsoft sidewinder x6 keyboard, i was dying for it 'till i bought it, but it didn't take much long, till i start having BIG PROBLEMS with it's inner structure, the keys unlike razer lycosa's, are waaaaaaaaay harder to remove, my problem lies on the fact that the inner keyboard gum it moves constantly, i had to remove all the keys clean the keyboard, and i had to take a lil knife to move up the keyboard gum.

  • @Quinqui31 Sorry I've never used a Sidewinder and I don't know anybody who does. From the appearance I thought it would be a great keyboard. Sorry to hear about the annoyance from it :(

    BTW, what were you doubting?

  • @chungortam well, i was doubting if this keyboard presents any kind of problems like those i just told you about my keyboard.

i'm gonna buy it, so i want it to know if it's a really good deal to have one of these. if it really worth it

  • nice review , i bought one of this and i am so exited about it :), imo it was a nice review, congratz!

  • i have the same keyboard and you know after you install with the cd can you add new media player option? cuz i don't watch stuff with any of the stuff on there

  • @TheSusiePark Do you mean could we let the keys control other media players aside from the ones listed in the software? That I don't think so.

  • It's not proununciation, it's pronounciation you dumbfuck !

  • @gamerboy249

    LOL mine's just a typo..but yours? Fail.

    It's proNUNciation, dumbfuck haha

  • @chungortam Sorry man, my fault. :D

  • @gamerboy249 no prob!

  • @gamerboy249 Served.

  • I want some opinions.. What does this keyboard, pr why this keyboard is so fucking awesome.. I mean, i just with leds, it's razer yea, and buttons for music.. I mean, it dosen't have some extra buttons, where you can bind some keys..

I like very much Razer, i already have mouse and mousepad from Razer.. But the keyboard..?

For example Logitech G19, has some buttons in plus, and an LCD.. Why this razer is so expensive since you saw what this keyboard does..

i'm waiting for an answer.. Thanks

  • @shockwavealin

If I'm not mistaken, for the price of a G19, you can buy a Razer Tarantula already which has the extra buttons you're looking for. I've never used a nice Logitech keyboard before, so I couldn't compare them.

Simply put, as a first decent keyboard, the Lycosa didn't disappoint. Razer also released software where you can bind macros onto any key on your keyboard, and it allow profiles. Like if you want to set for Counter-strike, you can bind buy M4A1 onto numpad 6. That's enough.

  • angry german kid needs one of em so he can put the buttons on again

  • @chungortam hes joking, hes taking the piss outta the angry german kid on cs :P

  • good review, very nice. thanks bro.

    From Brasil. Fran

  • hey nice review, good to hear personal thoughts on it from some1 who doesn't only game with it. currently tossing up between this or the mirror edition or the tarantula? what u suggest? do u find the rubber sometimes sticky or is it really smooth to use?

    thanks!

  • @foyandy

    Thanks!

The rubber's texture is really great. I have a relatively lot of hand oil / sweat, but it is still no problem for me.

Personally I feel the Tarantula has too many buttons, and the price is over my budget, but if you're a dedicated gamer or someone who can't really remember key shortcuts it would be a great advantage.

  • Now about the Mirror edition, yes it does look sexy but you'll gonna have lots of fingerprints. On the plus side, you won't have to worry about the rubber peeling off (so far after a year of usage I have just one key which the rubber has slightly peeled off and I don't know why)

You gotta choose between the Tarantula and Lycosa yourself. Between the Mirror and Original, I'd say get the Mirror if you don't mind some fingerprints or taking a minute or two wiping the keyboard. I'm the lazy type!

  • @chungortam

so what do u mean that the keys have a rubber letter on it? it sticks out of the key? or ontop of? so there isnt really that much rubber on it? just the printed letters... sounds like i will be getting the mirror over that... or is there other differences?

  • There's no printed letter actually. Every key is basically a transparent plastic with rubber coating on it. The areas lacking rubber coating shapes the letters on the keys, so the LED would shine through.

I guess there are no difference between the normal and mirror editions except the look and the material. I have no regrets getting the normal one personally. It depends on which one you feel like getting more.

  • I got this keyboard and my media keys made my windows media player go crazy. ie changing songs and making windows media player pop up a 1000 times...

  • Just one fault I find about the Razer Lycosa, is just the four arrow keys lighting up, located on the WASD keys, not being able to program the four keys to light up on different key placements. You know, not everyone uses the WASD keys to move their player model in-game. :D .. I, myself use the arrow keys to move, below Delete, End, and Page Down. Great keyboard though, don't get me wrong, I have one myself and show allot of support in Razer.

  • The switching LEDs is kind of stupid as WASD = you're covering it and there's not point having it on then. All off, it doesn't have a distinct sign to make the keys visible which makes it a little hard to see if you're in the low light or in really bright days. All keys on is the only one i use, because it's the only one that i can use

  • That is my case too.

  • does your spacebar rattle? to where it sounds loose? because mine does that and its very annoying. Also my S key registers when i dont even press it down, just when my finger rubs on it like when you type normally. its really annoying. i might get a refund from Razer because my return policy is up. any suggestions?

  • Hmm...Have you tried taking the keys out to check underneath? From my experience, taking a key out and placing it back usually would fix the mentioned problems.

If it doesn't, yeah try to get Razer to comment and maybe a refund.

How long have you been using the keyboard?

  • BTW, nice guitar :D

  • Oh haha thanks man. I think im just gonna get a replacement because i tried a few at bestbuy and they felt much better. mine feels loose

  • Actually i've had the lycosa for a long period of time and i use vista home premium and sometimes i get some really stupid problems. Such as sometimes the keys just turn off and if you press it even 1000 times it won't come up but if you pull out the plug and plug it back it it'll start wokring again. As for the space bar it might rattle a little bit but that's beacuse it's not built as a silent keyboard. My D key wouldn't register unless i pressed extra hard so i put a Q-tip cotton in it

  • 1:30 actually you can program 16 keys, not just 1. so shift + F1 is possible, also you can set macro's for 1050 keys (105 keys in total and 10 different profiles).

  • Sorry, what I meant is you cannot set a macro for Shift + F1

e.g. When I press Shift + F1, I want it to perform this and that.

  • I always hear but is it true do the rubber keys rub off?

  • It might be true - my "N" key is kind of coming off, but the rest are perfect.

  • thats weird, do u like DRAG your fingers over them? or to they just appear?

  • Nah I don't drag through them. Maybe as I'm typing my fingers rub each key a little bit as my hand move, and that's why.

I can imagine things would be worse if somebody games intensely, but to me it's not something I worry about.

  • if it starts peeling does the backlight still show?

  • Yes it does. The LED is from at base of the keyboard, so if all your keys are peeled of the rubber, you'll basically see a blue lit keyboard.

  • So if it peeled you wouldn't be able to see the letters on the rubber keys?

  • @AL3XL11

Yes. The rubber coating is what form the shapes of each letter. The key itself is basically a transparent plastic.

  • Thanks for the info :)

  • do the rubber peel off after some time?

  • I start to believe it's true now. But only one of my keys is peeling off.

  • ahh k. I got the Razor Lycosa for Christmas and im using it right now & I love the look , feel & Response time.

  • If it has the rubber finish does that mean you'll get finger prints on the keys?

  • @Vaanxy no. it just means you will have better grip on teh keys

  • can you see the letters on the keys with the back light turned off plz rely somone

  • At daytime or with your room's light turned on, yeah, just a little harder to read than normal keyboards.

  • @chungortam thank you

  • is the rubber keys has the the same feeling as the razer mouses?

  • yes you can, i have it:)

  • Whats the difference between gaming keyboard and those normal keyboard that comes with the computer ???

  • Looks, quality, features & functions.

  • light under the buttons... and at this one u can have light under the WASD buttons which is great

  • response rate..ability to macro the keyboard better...better key feeling..better ergonomically designed..WAY FUCKING COOLER!...higher quality...longer lasting...unique...ALOT more features...comfort..

  • ok When you type can you hear like CLICK or no? are the keys not that able to hear or rlly loud?

  • ofc u can hear it but it aint laud..like the mirror edition

  • Nice vid, excellent review 5/5 :D Another thing, what's the song you put in this??

  • The touch pad is really sensitive, causing WMP to pop up all the time.

  • I got that keyboard and it is really good!

    I give it 5*!

But I have a problem.. I have formated my computer cause of virus etc. and now the hotkeys for sound, music and lightning won't work :/ Could some1 give me an advise how to fix it?

    Thank you anyways!

  • Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the USB? That solves most problems this keyboard has.

  • thats probably a glitch in the drivers you should try re-installing them

  • does the mirror edition also have the rubber keys?

  • No. In fact, the only difference between the ordinary Lycosa and the Mirror Edition is that the rubber coating is gone, and it's switched to the reflective surface like the body of the keyboard.

  • Im planning on getting the lycosa after I got my new gaming pc. which one do you prefer? Im also getting the DeathAdder.

  • There's no doubt that the Mirror Edition would be filled with fingerprints after a day or maybe an hour of use.

The rubber won't have this problem. And consider it when you have to remove some keys. Rubber is guaranteed that it won't be scratched, but for the Mirror, I'm not sure.

This is my opinion only though! And what I've said aren't a big deal. If you're really attracted by the looks of the Mirror Edition, go ahead and get it. It'll be a great keyboard just like the normal edition.

  • I have just one question. I think I will get the normal edition, but when you use the WASD a lot, do you see kind of that it is used? like that those key have another color than the original rubber and that it is a little bit more shiny, kind of? do you understand what I mean? xD

  • LOL, no I don't really get what you mean :P

  • uhmmmm, like.....you can see that the keys are used. maybe that the rubber loosens up a bit? if you look at your WASD keys on your keyboard, does it look different than the other keys?

  • OH, you mean if you press one key a lot, does it appear to be dipped?

No, there's no signs of that. It's just a (quite hard & solid) rubber coating, and the keys' bottom are plastic. So you don't have to worry about that.

  • yeah kind of. alright then ill get that one when i have my new pc. i guess it will take over a month when i will finally have it lol. but i think im gonna buy the deathadder before the keyboard. what would you buy first?

  • I'll make sure the new PC works first by using an old keyboard & mouse before I buy any new additional hardware. Then I'll get the mouse and the keyboard at the same time, at the same store :D I'll feel happier that way.

Just curious, what are the specs of your new PC?

  • yea I think ill do that too. Im not sure what videocard i will have. I can't find my paper where all my specs are on right now but I will have a 9800GT or a HD4850 or HD4870. my processor will be duo core E8400 if im not mistaken and I think with 2,6 GHz but i am not sure. could be 2,8 too.
