At exactly 1:01, he said he got 2 hits for rolling two 4's right? Well if you pause it, the dice show 1 four & 1 six. Did he cheat? Or am I missing something?!

He rolls one of the characters to hit.

He then rolls horses to hit.

He then rolls lances from other characters to hit.

He then decides to roll lances to wound.

He then decides to roll horses to wound.

It was a complex unit and his first game of fantasy.

Also, the entire combat in question is not recorded.

AND it's 7th edition core rules.

Yes 2 hits for rolling 2, 4s. Meaning 2 x 4+. I was trying to keep it simple at the time. the 6 at the time did the same as a 4 or better.

just put the BSB in a unit of Grail knights, hard to challange him if they are ALL champions ;)

Lances are +2 strength on the charge, bringing up your strength to 5 total.

Couple rules pointers here:

1) You can march within 8" of an enemy unit, you just can't march if you START your turn within 8" of an enemy.

2) In the initial KOTR v. Cold One Knight combat, the CR was actually 7 to 2 in your favor. He got 1 for the wound, 1 for the standard, where you got 1 for war banner, 1 for unit standard, 1 for BSB (unit standard + BSB stack), 2 for complete ranks (past the first, which doesn't add), and one for outnumbering (Your US=22 His US=10)

Yes, it was 0nly 800 pts, I caused 3 units to get cut down from one chain of panic tests.

He's still learning fantasy tactics.

Since this match, he's had a Draw and a Win against me. I know fantasy tactics but on some things I am still not so good rules wise. So we are going ot continue playing games so he can learn and I can Iron out the advanced rules.
