I read it on a website somewhere, may have been the official tombraider sight yano, or wikipedia. Either way they sacked everyone (including eric lindstrom who basically created and dealt with publicity) becausee the games sales were pathetic (even tho its an AMAZING game) it pulled in like 5 million sales, whereas gears of war 2 achieved that in like a weekend lol? Either way they are hiring complete new people for the next tombraider:)

if you happen to watch the extra disc when you buy anniversary it will tell you that the creators wanted to kill her off because they were killing themselves by creating thes games, consuming thier lives....then they had to make another one so decided that she didnt really die and is alive and legend is a new game....it explains it all in the exta disc.

There isn't much chronological order given. It's the beginning of 4 at beginning, then at least some of the stuff from chronicles (because she meets larson and Pierre, who she later kills. and is a teen) Then the rest of 4, then at the end of chronicles they find her alive.

Then who knows...maybe after they find her alive then it's 1 then 3 then legend then 2. Who knows? The point is, they find her alive in chronicles, so then she has more adventures
