@tiffanythecatholic Thank you! Kind comments are a soothing balm compared to the people I've been dealing with this week.. Must be the devil out in full force. I ramped up my prayer life so the attacks are full force too.
Almost all catholic today is vatican 2, where everything changed, in the late 50s I believe, without the authority of a true pope. Vatican 2 is a false church and cannot perform a true mass or distribute the true sacrements of the body and blood of christ because it practices outside the true church
I love hearing about how people come to tradition, especially my generation who had no knowledge of the old mass. When I got my 1958 Father Steadman's Sunday Missal that would have been enough to bring me to tradition if I hadn't arrived already. I agree with some others though that the new mass is not simply a mistake, a lesser form of the tridentine rite. Instead it is a complete fraud and should be avoided the problem is telling people without offending them. Anyway, great video, thanks!
@dino33ca I attend with the priests who do not compromise the faith. If you know the histories and the difference between the two, you'll know which one I trust. :)
@paraisoat Without Traditional Bishops there will be no Traditional Priests. It's that simple. The only two Bishops two stand up and save the Tridentine mass from being illegal are Bishop Marcel Lefebvre and Bishop Antonio De Castro Mayer. The Church owes these great defenders a huge deal of gratitude for standing up and fighting for the faith and providing traditional Priests in order to preserve the Faith. Fortunately the SSPX has done more to defend the faith than any other society....
So why do you think the 1960s Vatican II council changed the Mass which had existed for nearly 2000 years? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Vatican II also change certain traditional dogmatic teachings of the Catholic Church as well? Do you accept the 2nd Vatican Council's teachings, and if so, then how can you claim to be a "traditional Catholic"?
@paraisoat , I've watched your videos and so far I haven't seen you reconcile Vatican II's teachings with what has always been the traditional dogmatic teachings of the Church. For example, do you accept Rome's present teaching that nonCatholics can receive salvation, even though Catholic dogma says there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church? If you accept Rome's teaching, then why call yourself a "traditional Catholic"?
@chromecrescent just ignore what I said before. After all, if sister Lucia accepted the post Vatican II papal claimants and the 2nd Vatican Council, then I suppose we must as well.
@chromecrescent Read Iota Unum, along with the Catechism of the Crisis in the Church. Also, Open Letter to Confused Catholics. Along with Work of Human Hands.
Traditional Latin Mass is they only Mass I attend know.
In Chicago at Saint John Cantius or go to Institute of Christ the King, FSSP, SSPX in Oak Park.
