Sadly, in the end, the U.S. and Colombian government ended up acting no better than Pablo himself. Putting bombs in apartment buildings in an effort to kill Pablo's family? I wonder how many innocent civilians the Search Block took with them in the process. It may have been necessary, but the U.S. has no right to claim moral superiority either.

You had to have your feelers out to gather intelligence, but that in turn makes it more likely your sources of information would be compromised somewhere. So it's not about who is more macho. It's not even about who is smarter.
