  • its not dojo it Tojo their general

  • And this scene is when i learned how brutal the series was gonna be. I loved it though. Now for the 'discussions' in the comments. War Sucks. but in order for peace there must be war. think about that. The imperial army thought of the United States as we are thought as today. Fat Slobs. If they weren't crashing into us with planes they were hiding in bushes with Bayonets and empty rifles at the ready. The wermacht was germany's army. they fought as a force and defense. the SS were nazi support

  • TENNO HEIKA BANZAI!!!!!

  • The Japanese guy says im not scare im not scared. shoot me.

  • and might I also mention the dead soldiers found earlier in this episode i think or the one before it

  • both sides did atrocities but in comparison the japanese were much worse, they even treated their own people on okinawa like they were not even human, and the torture they did on american soldiers were brutal, both sides did atrocities but american atrocities were not even as close as severe as the atrocities committed by the japanese

  • @deathfromabove332 lol actually both sides were quite bad, we live in a western society and thus we only get one side of the war fucking ignorant cunt

  • @imlevel0

Nope, the japs did it way worse.

They didn't even take prisoners, and when they did, it was only to torture them.

AT-LEAST WE FOLLOWED THE GENEVA CONVENTION.

    Your the ignorant cunt.

  • @Breakneckhydra1 thank you

  • @Breakneckhydra1 Geneva Convention? Explain peeing on dead corpse is not breaking the Geneva Convention you dumbass.

  • @TheHtjohn Defiling corpses is disgusting, but nothing compared to what the Japs did to the living.

  • @Anders2185 what did the Japanese do? Took orders like every other man in this war?

  • @ThatGuyCanDoThat Japanese soldiers didn't need orders to act inhumanly to their prisoners, they did it anyway off their own backs.

  • @Anders2185 But weren't they forced to fight like most of the German boys? Like they were forced by the SS to fight? Given a choice to fight or die, I would rather fight. But... This is a serious question. I want to know it. Were they forced to fight? Were the Japs forced to fight too??

  • @mineCraf0 No, unlike the ordinary soldiers of the Wehrmacht who fought because they were conscripted, the vast majority of the Japanese were all indoctrinated in the ways of the Bushido code and were fanatically loyal to the emperor the same way the SS were to Hitler, and would have fought because it was their duty to fight to the last for Japan.

  • @mineCraf0 don't listen to him. he's just another uneducated war fanatic.

  • @greenflag88 Uneducated? Oh definitely not, I've spent the last 16 years of my life interested in WW2, I've probably forgotten more than some of the people who comment on WW2 videos will ever bother to research. I may not be a Wordsworth, but I get my point across, just unfortunate that some people who comment really have no idea. War fanatic? Screw you, war is the greatest folly of man and should only be the last resort as it was in WW2 against the axis.

  • @imlevel0 I don't recall US marines slaughtering Jap civilians with bayonets, burying them alive, I don't recall Jap pows being deprived of food and medicine, or being forced to march 100s of miles with no food no water to camps to then be worked to death. Jap pows in allied camps were treated in accordance with the Geneva Convention, vast efforts were made to bring the condition of Jap pows to the Jap high command but they were ignored because, "Japan has no prisoners of war."

  • @Anders2185 War is the story of the victors. Once again, the answer to your statement...you've only heard one side of the story

  • @imlevel0 yes because you know the whole story definitely, Ive talked to people from japan and talked to them about what it shows in their history books

  • @deathfromabove332 actually knowing the story is unnecessary. Using common sense, people will be people and thus what the Americans did to the Japanese reflects what the Japanese did to the Americans. Unless you're saying there is a racial separation between people's behaviors...LOL

  • @imlevel0 no that is not what i'm the japanese had a different culture or belief, they treated the POW's differently, they even treated some of the own people like shit, ex: okinawa japanese treated the okinawans as shit, less than human, the japanese did not reflect american treatment, some of the tortures the japanese did included electrocuting crotch, crucifying, stretched out and have a bamboo grow through your stomach from the ground and much more

  • @deathfromabove332 My great uncle served with the British 14th Army for two years, after his first experience taking a Jap prisoner (and the many casualties it caused) it became his battalions policy to shoot on sight Japs attempting to surrender. Once on a patrol he came across 3 RAF airmen tied to posts, multiple bayonet wounds, cigs thrust in their eyes, bamboo thrust though their crotches and their throats slit, who the hell does imlevel0 think he's kidding.

  • @Anders2185 tell your uncle i said thank you for serving by the way

  • @Anders2185 the japanese were told to kill at least ten before they died, whether by suicide bombing or other means

  • @imlevel0 actually there is it's culture you fucktard

  • @rocker1296 talk english? Oh wait, i forgot, your culture is against education considering that your government is severely cutting education. I don't blame you for your stupidity.

  • @imlevel0 you use the same government you fool

  • @imlevel0 you seem to not know me so let me tell you a little about my self I am in 10th grade I am in college level classes and I plan on becoming a comedian and my style of humor follows that of George Carlin and Lewis Black and I understand what I am talking about

  • Comment removed

  • @imlevel0 War is the story of the victors is a massive cop out. And Really... tell me then what appalling crimes did allied soldiers commit against Japanese civilians? POWs? The Bataan death march, rape of Nanking, need I say more. My great uncle fought the Japs for two years, some of the appalling things he witnessed that they had done are so fucking chilling you would not believe.

  • no we don't only get one side of the war, you do if you read a history book only though, also not one thing i said was ignorant, soooo yaaaahh go fuck yourself

  • @imlevel0 compare what we did to how the japanese treated POW's, and might I also mention how they treated their own people on Okinawa

  • @deathfromabove332 actually we do only get one side of the war. Yeah your fucking ignorant. You really think the American government would release what they did to the Japanese? Why does it look like the "good guys" win every war huh? Maybe because history is told by the fucking winners which adds an inevitable bias to the stories of war. 13 year olds have no common sense.

  • @imlevel again IF YOU ONLY READ HISTORY BOOK GIVEN AT SCHOOL, i've heard both sides

  • @deathfromabove332 lol and what sources did you "hear" this from. American documentaries? LOL

  • @imlevel0 nope.avi, i've stated my sources, lets hear yours hmm

  • @deathfromabove332 I'm half Japanese, many on my father's side of the family were slaughtered by American soldiers. Yes, i know the Japanese were terrible to the Americans during war, but don't you forget that the Americans were equally as bad. If you really think one side was "nicer" then the other, then you really have no sense of conflict.

  • @imlevel0oh japanese were terrible to the okinawans too, and no we were not equally bad ask one of the people who were there maybe then you wont be so ignorant and let your heredity be your basis of facts, again I have talked to people actually from japan, they agree what their ancestors did was pretty damn bad, I'm not saying we are completely innocent but at least exercised standards, maybe you should think say before you base it all just on the fact you're half japanese

  • @deathfromabove332 Lol mate im half okinawan, don't tell me to fucking ask someone who's already there. I am not saying that the Japanese were "nicer", I'm saying that both sides were just as mean to each other. You clearly lack the intelligence to see the big picture. No fucking military is capable of exercising standards. Look at Iraq for example, our own soldiers can commit terrible crimes to the Iraqi people too. Yes, I would agree that my ancestors did things that

  • @deathfromabove332 that were terrible, but thats not the fucking point. How about asking them what the AMERICANS DID THAT WERE TERRIBLE TO THEM? You are sick and I feel bad that you lack such intelligence to understand so. All my Aunts on my Japanese side have all married American men because their previous husbands were murdered by American soldiers...and yes their husbands were farmers. If you really believe that one side can be "nicer" then the other..

  • @imlevel0 because japan's soldiers who were captured even told of what there experiences were and there government told them it was extremely horrible but they were treated nicely japan didn't do any of that shit

  • @rocker1296 lol@ little children

  • @deathfromabove332 If you really believe that one side was "nicer" to the other, then you are gullible as American propaganda has prevailed against your simple mind.

  • @imlevel0 And nope, both top comments prove that your an idiot, considering that they are mocking idiots like you who take one side and cannot understand that both sides were equally unjustified in their conflict.. You are so stupid LOL

  • @imlevel0 i said americans did some atrocities, both top comments are actually pro american side, sorry you failed english class D:

  • @deathfromabove332 but u did mention that one was more brutal then the other, while I'm pointing out that both were equally as brutal. You clearly said "didn't say nicer just not as brutal" which i just copy and pasted from your previous invalid argument. Try re-reading the top comments again, you clearly are still in freshmen highschool english.

  • @imlevel0 also you call us ignorant but you stereotype wtf kind of hypocritical shit is that

  • @rocker1296 amen to that

  • @rocker1296 analyzing your stupid comments is not stereotyping. Using common sense to get to a conclusion is not stereotyping. Also, a fucking 10th grader telling me she is taking college level classes does not impress me. lol 10th graders...

  • @imlevel0 andi never said either was justified, i just said the imperial army side was more fucked up

  • @imlevel0 wtf why are you being so egomaniacle that you respond to your own comment

  • @imlevel0 didn't say nicer just not as brutal, now you still have not stated your sources

  • @deathfromabove332 lol, exactly you're saying that one side was more brutal to the other. When in reality, war is a brutal concept by itself making both sides just as responsible in the conflict. You clearly do not know what "sources" are do you? Didn't i mention half of my fucking family? While all you said is that you "talked to some japanese people" Once again, your stupidy is humorous.

  • @imlevel0 talked to some people who live there, asked them about whats their books, okay half your family is, are any of them witnesses ?, and lets ask the witnesses who were soldiers and there hm they seem to think it was fucked up

  • @deathfromabove332 yes they are witnesses LOL, thats why only my Aunts survived. All men were convicted of being blood-thirsty killers when infact they were farmers. They pulled out my Uncles and shot them. My Aunts are still alive and still do suffer to this day, post-war stress.

  • @imlevel0 suuuure they did, where did they live?

  • @deathfromabove332 Once again Okinawa. You denying this is proof that American Propaganda easily creates biases in weak minds. Hopefully you will grow up to be a more intelligent then what you are now.

  • @deathfromabove332 The lived in Okinawa. Once again American Propaganda has proven successful in converting weak young minds. You denying this is just showing ignorance as you have little life experience to understand the true brutality of war.

  • @imlevel0 wasn't denying anything o.o

  • @deathfromabove332 "suuuure they did" Resorting to lying by saying "wasn't denying anything" has just proved that defending invalid arguments will prove futile when debating over LOGIC. Please go to K-mart and buy some common sense.

  • @imlevel0 oh sorry I already have some would you like me to pick some up for you

  • @deathfromabove332 talk english? I don't understand what you are trying to say hahaha.

  • just said what the japanese did was more atrocious

  • @deathfromabove332 yes and everything i have said previously proves your argument to be wrong and ignorant.

  • @imlevel0 hm a lot of people seem to think I am right

  • @deathfromabove332 This idiot should read the "Kill All Prisoners" order of 1/8/1944 issued to Japanese pow camp commanders to dispose of Allied prisoners, then say there were no good guys

"Whether they are destroyed individually or in groups, with mass bombing, poisonous smoke, poisons, drowning, decapitations, dispose of them as the situation dictates. It is the aim not to allow the escape of a single one, to annihilate them all & not to leave any traces"

  • @Anders2185 i don't think imlevel0 can read

  • @deathfromabove332 yeah or comprehend basic English or logic apparently lol

  • yep XD

  • @Anders2185 So we should act like animals then? Because our enemies seem spiteful and cruel?

There were no good guys, because war is never good. It is a better alternative to death, but war is never a force of goodness, no matter who your enemy is.

No one is justifying what the japanese did. The losers never need to be reminded of what they did wrong. It's the winners that need to be reminded.

  • @numanumaro Don't give me that war is not good philosophical cobblers I don't need telling that war is wrong. What sickens me is people who post comments glorifying the Japanese, Nazis etc, saying the allies were just as bad when the opposite is true.

  • @imlevel0 at okinawa the japanese soldiers told the okinawans we were going to kill them, a lot of them offed themselves, and okinawa, the soldiers told them was a line that they shouldn't cross because they were still looking through the area, so there were misfires

  • @deathfromabove332 once again you are only exposed to one side of the story and assume one was more "brutal" then the other. How many times do i have to mention to you, there is no way to "measure" brutality. The only thing you need to know that the entire concept of war brings death and suffering to both fucking sides.

  • @imlevel0 yes it does bring death and suffering to both sides i never said it didn't, by the way this is fun XD

  • @imlevel0 so I will state so your damaged brain can comprehend it, i've talked to people from japan and asked them what it says in their history books, have talked to veterans of WW2, have you, didn't think so

  • @deathfromabove332 Didn't know a damaged brain could get me into Stanford.

  • @deathfromabove332 Read the top comment. Your argument is INVALID,

  • @imlevel0 both top comments prove my point you idiot -.-

  • @imlevel0 actually we didn't win vietnam and we still were the good guys

  • @rocker1296 Yeah but we didn't lose either.

  • @rocker1296 and once again the use of the word "good guys" is ignorant, dumb ass moron

  • @imlevel0 he's ignorant you're the one calling people you don't even know insults who have done nothing to you first

  • It disgusts me to see the amount of hatred and ignorance in the majority of these comments regardless of the side you guys are arguing for or against. Atrocities are inevitable in war, but It's that kind of fucking ignorant mentality that allows atrocities to happen so easily.

  • @IsseyU What I have stated in my comments here is historic fact, its not based on hatred or ignorance. If someone is going to post a deluded trolling comment praising the Japanese in WW2 as noble, honest, angels then I'm gonna debunk that.

  • Everything isn't black and white, atrocities permeate both sides of the battle, it's not due to race, its simply due to the character of each individual, and you guys sure make Americans and Japanese look like uneducated savage fucks with all your comments...

  • AYJA BONZAIIIIIIIIII

  • Not to defend the Japanese because what goes around comes around. They killed thousands of Chinese and in the end they too were killed. But I also feel that the Marines of that day were hell bent on total annihilation rather than taking prisoners. It's ironic to hear these gung-ho Americans talking about war and moral responsibility. There is no moral responsibility in war. Why concentration camps for the Japanese-Americans but none for the German-Americans? Italian-Americans?

  • @YadaBeats Why no camps for the German-Americans? Italian-Americans? Simple, the Japanese-Americans were a manageable number, if they had camps for the German-Americans or Italian-Americans they would have had to move nearly everyone out of New York city.

  • @Anders2185 LOL makes sense.

  • haha, fucking piece of shit buck-toothed yellow motherfucker, too bad we didn't nuke all of these savages to hell.

^ FYI NOT RACIST I'M ASIAN MYSELF

fuckers should have been genocided off this planet.

  • So why does the actions of a few japs make them all bad.

Because a few black people steal TV's and eat chicken does that mean they all do it?

  • You kids all defending the Japs, taking such a love attitude- so understanding of them- You have been given a revisionist history in schools. You are also now idiot relativists due to your education, So you don't know a fkn thing about real life and the horrors that are in it. From Nanking to Hiroshima, that was real, and it was Hell. And those Japs were monsters and got monsters to kill them. That kind of stuff is not dead. It is still lurking. You had better find the truth about life.

  • @Polypropellor Thats right. The Japs were worse than the Nazis. History is made by those who write it. The Japs were horrible and deserved every bit of death they got.

  • GOOOK

  • ww2 japanese...those faggots were like animals...

  • buccephalus they freakin ape never srrender you moron so shut the fuck up

  • This is a fucked up scene. Should've just killed him. And yes, I know, they committed war crimes, the US did too. The Japs&Marines were both fierce fighting machines. I thought it was nice of the marines to help that wounded soldier, but he just suicided them. Wow. And if you look at my channel, I'm NOT A FUCKEN JAP.

  • Fucking Yellow Monkeys!!

  • Comment removed

  • japs behaved like animals and were treated as such. They committed war crimes like you wouldn't believe, i say fuck em.......

  • they killed all them fuckers and everyone of them jap fuckers deserve it.

  • I love how all these idiots are saying American Marines are evil, yet they fail to notice the part of 2 medics (unarmed) helping up a wounded japanese soldier, who in return pulls out a gernade and kills them both. Fuck Japan they are brutal rats.

  • I cried so hard when I first watched this scene.

  • everyone stfu, it was war, it was brutal, both sides had their horrid moments.

  • @buccephalus2011 so you don't call the marines on Wake Island brave? They held out for days when they were heavily out numbered and out gunned by Japanese troops. Doing suicide charges isn't bravery it's stupidity. Oh yea and you don't consider the marines on Iwo Jima brave even though they were fighting an enemy they couldn't even see? Idiot

  • "Those who fight monsters should take care that they never become one. For when you stand and look long into the abyss, the abyss also looks into you." ~ Frederich Nietsche

  • i will always admire the japanese and am sorry they stuck to the code of bushido charging against machine guns was suicide but i admire them they were brave - americans were NOT - anyone can pull a machine gun trigger and drop a nuclear bomb your enemies are brave - you are not - one day your enemies will have the technology to match you and the bravery will make the difference - they will win. your empire of macdonals nears its end usa

  • @buccephalus2011 yeah they were so brave that they bayoneted wounded and sick men then left their bodies in the road to be mutilated by passing trucks who deliberately tried to run them over, so brave that they shot 10 men for every 1 man who escaped from a pow camp, so brave that they kept pow red cross parcels for themselves denying starving, sick men their food, so brave that they used Indian pows as target practice, so brave that they worked pows to death to aide the Japanese war effort.

  • @Anders2185 Well unless you have been in a war, you would'nt understand how much hate they have towards each other. cause you know, watching their friends die in their hands, you would have done the same thing.

  • @sniper1234ist Are you trying to excuse Japanese war crimes based their hatred on the allies?

  • @Anders2185 No, im telling you how much they hated each other and why they did what they did it to each other

  • @Anders2185 Let not also forget that the japanese invaded china and killed more than 20 million cilivians and tortured them to death. And they did the same to other aisa countries as well. They commited such horrible war crimes. But it is the past and don't hate on them now for what they did in the past.

  • @RL00999 thats right, yep different generation altogether, but apparently the way WW2 is taught to the Japanese people leaves little to be desired.

  • @Anders2185 yeah thats true however japan shouldnt deny their war crimes

  • @RL00999 nor should the USA or any other allied nation for that matter especially the Russians

  • @firstgovs yeah

  • @firstgovs DONT INSULT MOTHER RUSSIA!!!

  • @1212dgriff first of its not my mother and second your a yank so stfu

  • @firstgovs lol im from ct

  • @1212dgriff idk wtf ct is but it says ur from the US on your profile

  • @firstgovs LOL ct is in africa. im a nigger duuuuuh

  • @1212dgriff of course....

  • @Anders2185 History is written by the victors, you think that the allies were all high and mighty? You think the allies didn't commit atrocities like the Axis did? You'd be stupid and naive if you did.

  • @E55Jake I don't need you to tell me that, history may be written by the victors but that doesn't mean history is erased. It also doesn't alter the fact that what the Japanese did to the Chinese and Allied POWs far exceeded anything committed by the Allies.

  • @buccephalus2011 your a fucking moron, American soldiers went through hell to protect your freedom and risked there lives. In my book thats being brave, you should do some research on how the Japanese treated there prisoners and see how much you admire them now.

  • @commando21 yer but the japs did not sign the geneva pact so there was no reason for them to treat there pow with any human rights just you put that out there it is terrible however it is a war nothing is guaranteed, also the japs were not high on resources either they tried to push everything into the army to continue fighting any other country would do the same and you are arrogant to think any different. (however it was terrible )

  • @buccephalus2011 "one day your enemies will have the technology to match you and the bravery will make the difference" haha i laughed so hard when i saw this! Seeing that your definition of bravery is to mount a frontal charge against a machine gun, it won’t matter what level of technology they have, if they are to be "brave" and do huge tactical mistakes resulting in mass suicide. The americans wont need anything but a single minigun to wipe out your "brave" army...

  • @buccephalus2011 Right the Japanese were so brave they spent most of their time killing civilians, working POWs to death, raping women and children, and losing every battle to the Americans. The Americans fought and defeated the Japanese in almost every battle before the nukes were every used. You're a complete idiot.

  • @JebusLee They did have victories and defeats yes.

  • @buccephalus2011 lol your ignorance is amazing....im assuming your one of those left winged, blinded mother fuckers who think all Americans are stupid, obese, religious fools....How the fuck do you win a war without intelligence???...America is here to stay for a long time and I suggest you should thankful that America is the world power....And yes i say THE world power for even China doesn't have shit on us...People come to America.... Americans don't leave

  • @buccephalus2011

    McDonald's***

ur spelling is as bad as ur facts of war

  • @buccephalus2011 You, sir, are an ignorant cretin of the highest order.

  • @buccephalus2011 Right, because there was nothing brave about storming the beaches of Normandy against opponents who had the high-ground and artillery support.

Go take your garbage somewhere else.

  • @buccephalus2011 im astounded at your stupidity but if you find the act of shooting at civilians a brave act, then your messed up. but if u look at the top coments youl see how much people disagre with u

  • I can see why those marines did what they did because they just saw two of their buddies get blown to pieces by a supposedly wound Japanese soldier 15 seconds earlier. But at the same time you shouldnt torture a poor human like that. Let him get mocked by the enemy and shot at. Leckie did the right thing with putting him out of his misery

  • アメリカはベトナム戦争でも、

    まったく同じことをベトナム人にしている、

    まったく反省の無い国民性だ!!!

  • Am I the only one who feels sorry for the japanese soldier while understanding why the marines acted the way they did? I mean, it's cruel doing that to another human, no matter how you look at it. On the other hand, I guess alot of them held a grudge against the japanese based on what they had heard and seen. Yes, the japanese were very cruel, no doubt about it. But if people return to them in kind, are they any better?

  • Tojo lives in Tokyo but this Islland was also Tokyo!!!

  • ジュネーブ条約も守っていないアメリカ海兵隊に日本軍を打つ権利は無い。

    YANKEE GO HOME!

  • Comment removed

  • アメリカ国民の皆さん、あなたたちのおじさんは、日本人にこんなことをしていたのです。よく見て下さい。

  • @floy513

angry jap detected. ENGRISH REARN IT!

  • why are he americans never want to be the bad guys

I'm not saying that the Japaneses where victims or bad guys in a war you kill it dose not matter if you kill one thousand or one million. as a solider you are doing what your country wants you to do and you must do it and it doesn't matter what you think

  • We must also remember that most of the Jap soldiers were forced to join the Army. This guy may have been one of those guys. Its a pity. :\

  • Americans, they always have an excuse.

  • Here are some other estimates of Chinese war dead from all causes.

    Kinder 4,500,000

    Wallechinsky 2-10 million

    Urlanis 7,500,000

    Ellis 8,000,000

    HarperCollins 10,000,000

    Encarta 10,000,000

    Tohmatsu & Willmott 1931-1945 12,400,000

    Gruhl 12,392,000

  • If you are talking actual victims of Japanese war crimes or murders the number is much lower. 6-7 million in all Asia.

Rummel, already mentioned by wildwestsam, estimates the number of Chinese war dead at 15 million and he breaks it down to 6 million by Chinese Nationalists, 4 million murdered by Japanese, 250,000 by Communists, over 2 million by famine & disease, over 2 million as collateral war damage in battles, air raids etc.

  • i understand war bring out the evil part of people... but dam, thats wrong. guna do it, at least do it in a head shot.. well, id hope to go that way if i was that guy.

  • Wtf he was trying to surrender he even yelled look I'm unarmed please don't shoot

  • @z0mbieKiller16 Maybe he should've tried before his bastard friend played that dirty trick on the medic trying to help him.

  • I knew what that jap soilder was saying he was trying to say he surrenders he even yelled "but I'm unarmed"

  • shit the war ends ?¿?

  • war makes good people doing this kind of shit with no use for anything

  • @rexmanager

Exactly! And you can always expect them to do all kinds of uncivilized and unprofessional things like shooting anyone that happens to walk by, throwing puppies off of cliffs, firing captured enemy weapons at the indigenous livestock, and making assorted offensive gestures towards a culture they know nothing about.

  • @WunderDoob

i read the book "Soldaten" and now i knew what soldiers animate to do that.

  • @425jeonsa

    for what?

  • Why did they shoot the poor Japanese actor? Was the budget running short and he wasn't in a union?

  • Rape of Nanking. Enough said.

  • @cultrara01

no one cares about Nanking you chink.

  • BANZAI! Brave japanese soldiers!
