If you want to see the ultimate TFF fan, check out the singer of this music video. He appears to be wearing an autographed "Songs From The Big Chair" tour t-shirt by Roland and Curt throughout the whole thing. Their keyboardist even plays the Emulator II played by TFF during that tour. Paste the phrase below in the search box.
@gillz107 Very hard question, overall they sound pretty similar to me.
I think I'd have to choose Duran Duran, though I have mostly just listened to their Greatest Hits. Depeche Mode has very meaningful lyrics and excellent rhythms it seems.
i'd like to see any young new band write a song with this much depth, musicianship, and feel...YEAH.. those days are long gone..they wrote this in their early 20"s...today's music is the proverbial wart on the saggy ass of pop culture !
@blica1 Couldn't have said it better myself, these guys are one of the best artists of the 80's and of overall rock. I think music has degraded a bit... great stuff keeps coming out, but depth like this is hard to reach nowadays. I know very, very few people that know who TFF is; people my age listen to the shittiest sounds now (17 yrs)
Tears for fears ,simplesmente um fenomeno essa banda como o Pink floyd, eles são diferente de todas e eles são demais, principalmente esta música.São ótimos.E porque eles não vieram no rock in rio?
I hope you guys know. Tears and Fears has a lot to do with Change. Especially when those old people face change in an economy that is progressing all the time. Particularly old leaders in this world
@GodofReapers I can see what you mean by missing a time you never lived but have learned about it. I sometimes wish I could have lived in an earlier time when things were simpler, people were more in tune with each other and spent more time together as community instead of everyone being and island
The 80s was the most epic decade damn music in this current decade with the Lady Ma Caca and the Justin Fieber and Srgt Gutter ( Solidier) is just a hot fucking mess to begin with sometimes I wish their moms could have swallowed them during conception -_- and mtv is just a shadow of its former self
Hey, we all have the power to make great music if we really want to. Don't be a product of your environment. Let your environment be a product of you. If you don't like music of today, make something better for the world to listen to.
The eighties were when good music was rampant. The shit they play today isn't worth a pot to piss in or a bucket to throw it out in. Live on Eighties !!!!!!
The Sound, Echo and the Bunnyman The Cure, Dead cab danse, Joy Division, Simple Minds, New order Electronic Shriekback Sad lovers and his Giants, Twice a Man and the Cocteau Twins and everybody who I am forgotten.
Classic....takes me straight back to big perms, even bigger ear-rings, bangles up my arms, tight skirts, pointy shoes, men's jackets with the sleeves pushed up, men wearing more make-up than me, long coats, shoulder pads....Good times and how I miss them....
i didnt grow up in the 80's but i love the eras music. to me thats the golden age of music,if only that music can spread to this generation, artists now a days lost the that potential. sigh.....a well, long live the 80's :) thank u artists for giving us some epic music to listen to :')
@Koontaj Roland could take the head off your shoulder and shit down your neck. Trust me, either of them, Roland in particular, could wipe the floor with you, you mug.
Sure brings me back to the 80s when I listen to all of Tears for fears song along with other 80s tracks. thanks for the memories cornupedo. Keep up the good work
@pedrofaba 'Lady Caca' (lol, I love it!) is a spinoff from the coat-tails of none other than our own Madonna-they are all succeding simply because Madonna showed them the way! :)
@pedrofaba I happen to love Lady Gaga. I'm too young to have grown up with amazing artists such as Tears for Fears, but I LOVE 80's music so much. Just because you miss the era of your favorite music (actually my favorite music too) has come and gone, doesn't mean you should insult modern music. I have a friend who HATES most 80's music, but loves classical music. Just because one came first, doesn't mean it was better, its all opinion.
The Producer of this track, Chris Hughes, was one of the drummers from Adam and the Ants. He went by the name Merrick back then. He Produced several Tears for Fears tracks.

when it's all too late all too late.. Change you can change.. boy that brings back memories.. i went to see them in Atlanta August 26... i love TFF.. they still sound great
Tears for Fears are still as good now as they was in the 80s, me and my wife went to the city hall in Sheffield to see them we was right at the front next to the stage about 3foot away and they sound as good live long live Tears for Fears
I graduated in 1980 and had this 45 (for all you rugrats) that means record...not gun! Just when are the artist of today going to start making their sound more original?
They all sound like the same lame wanna-be wigger! No...you're not black so stop (trying) to act like you are!
@MisterJokerToker ...Well said,....Pathetic arent they?...those damn lame ass Wiggers,..I dont even understand why they would even want to act Black...thats weird
Gee, I'd watched the Tears for Fears' live concert in Manila just last night (May 3, 2010) all by myself yet lots of people had hungrily {and thirstly} clamored to hear and witness their idols. Only one most important song the so-called Tearjerkers missed to perform: "CHANGE"! Whoah!...
