@sixameleon, who warns us "our Eurofighter is waiting for it....."
Whose Eurofighter? Yours? Did your Quidditch Club dork friends steal a Eurofighter? Oh, you mean your country's government... Well, genius, apparently they went right over your head when they decided to become U.S. Allies and put about 300 of these F-35's on layaway. But I'm sure you'll put a stop to that.
well, most 5:th generation fighters are capeable of taking down one another, depends largely on the pilot. Griffin managed to "kill" The Raptor at Red Flag.
However, if skillfully planned, the enemy plane will first get a missile lock on its screens, then a blob will appear on the radar, and Booom. That's the concept of the F-35 and F-22. "Never knew what hit em" But when it comes to maneuverability, some 5:th gen. fighters match or even beat the F-35 and F-22
hahaha, please.. EF doesn't stand a chance if having to intercept it. It will first get a missile lock (never having seen it) then it will appear behind you on your radar (when it opens its missilehatch) and boom baby, you are KIA..
You do know the "fantasy" genre are movies about Medieval time? And I'm sick of people being so god damn cocky about the EF. It is good as for being a fighter, but compared to other 5:th generation fighters like JAS 39 NG, F-22, Rafale 2, F-35 it shouldn't have come up on the drawingboard.
*Sigh* Always contraversy, always conflict... Humans are dorks. (Americans especially, but I'll stop bashing myself right there)Suffice it to say neither the F-35 or the Eurofighter have seen combat, so it is impossible to say with certainty how they would do on the battlefield. If we're lucky, they never will, but that's not likely to happen.
In some respects it is a good thing. People still have a last resort job to go to and therefore unenployment issues dont happen. Also the majority of everyday technology has been invented by the millitary before civilian life for example GPS. Its thanks to money been put into the military that there is good security and advancing technology
something like less than 10% of the national budget is going to the military. more of it goes to other things retard, god you american bashers are such fags learn your shit all you ever spout off is than anti-american propaganda you hear at the pub downtown queer
Well. don't know what you mean with that comment... The Harrier does land on aircraft carriers, and 2 of the 3 versions made of the JSF-35 are capeable of taking of and landing on a carrier.
dslcobra .. actually this isnt US plane.. yeah its true that its produced in USA, but its co-owned and financed by several countries like norway, spain, italy, turkey and holland
well, i would say its a US plane. The only thing from the other countries u mentioned is (basically) financial support for the project. from what i have heard is that the majority of design, manufacturing etc., is based in the US. For us in Norway at least, we only "fund" the project, even though we haven't decided if the JSF35series is what we will buy.
any1 knows where that video from cockpit view on a 3 day trip to Paris went? i cant find it anymore. It was a co-pilot that made it for his girl, and it had the Vertigo song in it...Message me if u have it plz, thx

@skeatesy1 That must be why we've came out with some of the world's best aircraft. Because we don't know what we're doing. Good job troll.

The cockpit in your video is not the JSF. The JSF doesnt have a HUD!

the only plane that might beat it is the raptor, and maybe some sort of Sukhoi/Mig we are unsure of yet

can the Eurofighter take off British naval ship decks? : No
Does the eurofighter look half as kool as the JSF: no
is the harrier outdated? yes
andyrik 5 years ago
coolness (with a c not a k) doesn't count in an air battle boy! and the harrier is still an unique jet!
Squirrnoff 5 years ago
but the ability to take off and land on an aircraft carrier does count, does it not?
