  • I never understood why they decided to leave out "shifting" after "pistol grip". Aside from that, it's a good cover. Though if I had to choose, I'd go with the original.

  • this and bad religion sufffer tie for beat punk album ever

  • I love that dude... what's his name? oh yeah... Killboy Powerhead.

  • This is one of the best albums ever I can listen to this over and over again it never gets old

  • The Didjits original version, is definitely better.

  • @DukeDanceum I could go for either one, but I lean towards this one. Thanks for giving it a try though!

  • memories ^^ and one of my favourite album ever

  • My all time favorite Offspring album!!

  • Klasyk

  • I'M ADDICTED TO THIS SONG!!!

  • Nice cover.

  • To bad the song is so short! I WANT MOOOORE!!! ;D

  • 3RD GRADE NEVER ROCKED THIS HARD!

  • 3RD GRADE NEVER RCICKED THIS HARD!

  • at 0:24 my head simply blows off

  • dammit im a bboy powerhead.

  • this is the only album I like by the Offspring, actually this was my first cd I bought. Ha! Still one of my favorite albums to listen to.

  • lol i have this tape haha

  • short song but a cool one

  • NEVER FORGET THE DIDJITS!!!

  • It's a good thing The Offsping put out good albums like this back in the day. Sort of a "we didn't always suck" insurrance.

  • @gongargongar They still don't suck. They havent topped albums like this one but they continue to make new albums with great songs. Their newest one has at least 5 songs that I love. You can't expect them to always be the same on every album. They haven't sold out though and you should give them credit for that.

  • killboy powerperras

  • amazing song!

  • Killboy Powerhead? Can someone explain what in the hell that means? This band used to be relevant, but all their shit sounds the same now. After like ten albums, his voice is the same every damn song. god.

  • @Illumirage I agree it sounds the same, to an extent.

  • @Illumirage tbh ppl would complain if they changed as well, so meh i'd rather they didnt change.

  • Offspring>Green Day IMO. :D

  • "he's a pistols grip and a lightning rod hammer"...damn, killboy powerhead must be a badass

  • couldn't of said it better myself.

  • time for more s e r i o s music guys

  • Nice one, you spelt 'serious' wrong when you were trying to put more emphasis on it.

    tl;dr GOON.

  • everything changes over time stop bitching people. At least the offspring still carry the same sound, unlike Linkin Park who totally went mainstream and watered down their style.

  • well now they do.. but they did that fucking splinter album in between... wtf was that.. hahah/

  • The offspring still rocks and rocks forever!!! But green day that singer is gay!! that is gay band and is forever!!!

  • Man i've been an offspring fan since the early 90s. admittedly i like their older stuff than the new, but it kills me to see one of my favorite bands every compared to green gay.

  • @HailDaFins Dammit, I really wish you could undo comment ratings. Sorry about that. Totally agree with you, though. Meant to press the thumbs up.

  • New Offspring is not punk, nor is new Greenday, they are just lame ass cheesy sellout bands now that seem to be only capable of releasing mediocre albums with like one or two listenable tracks.....its sad really how The Offspring could go from a band that Released "Bad Habit" "Killboy" "Genocide" and virtually ever other song from Smash to a band that released "Pretty Fly for a White Guy".....

  • KILLBOY POWERHEAD!

  • New offspring is just a new type of Offspring. It's not bad at all. In fact, I bet more people in general will like the new offspring more than the old. Just us as fans absolutely love the music we first heard them play because that's how what we heard first when we became fans of the GODS!

  • Hm, I may not agree that the new Offspring is better, but they are for sure the same awesome band!

  • this song is just amazing, and i have to say that this album is one of the best albums ever, all the songs are the shit!!!

    love it!

  • The Offspring of course but Greenday is still good, well their old stuff was at least..

  • :O:O

  • I dont know whos better green day or the offspring

  • All in all !In my opinion! Green Day... They have made more good albums and are a better Live-Band!

But don't get me wrong... Offspring - Smash was/is fucking great!

Dookie and Smash were my first CD's

PS: Everyone's got his own taste of course!

  • LOL - Dookie und Smash - bei war es auch so ;-) !!!

Über den restlichen Text kann ich mir leider kein Urteil erlauben -> but

of course - "Everyone's got his own taste" ;-)

    MfG Sven

  • the offspring definatly

  • offspring all the way, but green day fucking own

  • offspring is better than the green day cuz the offspring seem more active i dont know why but they do

  • New Greenday/Offspring = shit.....

    Old Greenday/Offspring = Punk gods.

  • you got it except greendays always sucked HAHA!!!!!

  • tienes toda la razon que no toquen mas!!---you right

  • Lol i don't even think green day is punk anymore :s

  • @Akane35000

    FUCK YOU !!!!!

"i guess they are just Green Day, right now" fucking die

  • dude... just enjoy the music and stop categorizing shit.

  • @Akane35000 Fag

  • whoa whoa whoa

you suck if you think offspring sucks

  • i agree, new offspring is great too

  • the song and cd? good over ten years ago... still good now!

  • I've been sitting here for an hour watching Offspring videos. I had forgotten how many great songs they had. Too bad they aren't touring right now.

I remember the first time I heard this, I thought he was saying 'Good ol' Boy Without a Head".

  • I've been doing the same thing, I only had this on cassette and haven't heard alot of the Smash songs since high school.....and the next time they tour, I"M THERE; saw them last summer in Baltimore and it was awesome!

  • this band was 1 of my first concerts

  • best punk cd ive heard in my life

  • Ur right m8!

  • need to listen to more punk albums ;)

  • @uncomingxstorm

don't forget about their album ignition :)

  • i loved the whole tape back then, i had to cut an old ladies grass for 15 bucks and i bought it. i loved every song ans still do

  • Man, this is one of their best songs...I'm surprised it didn't get more exposure!

I like it better than Self Esteem.

  • it's a Didjits song twerps

  • Pretty sure it's not. I was watching a version of theirs, they said before they started, "Here's a song from the Offspring!"

  • He was kidding. It's a Didjits song.

  • It is the Didjits. If you own smash it says that in the liner notes.

  • that was sarcastic, this song was on there 1991 "Hornet Pinata" the origional can be heard on the Touch & Go website......

  • I understand that it is by the Didjits I personally like the "The Offspring" version of it more. But hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

  • killboy powerheaaad yeah!! best song!

  • really great song

    gotta love the chorus
