faaack. dude, im 15 and live a few hours from both victoria and vancouver, and they just played in both cities, but it was 19 and older. an you dont even know how much i wanted to go, they are one of alll times best bands. seriously take the chance and go they're getting old they wont be around forever, lol

If you like Dinosaur Jr you'll love the Pixies, Pavement, Sebadoh, Teenage Fanclub, some Sonic Youth stuff... Recently there's bands like Wavves or Best Coast which are quite in the same spirit...

well, when they recorded Beyond, J had a lot of time to rest, so his voice was better. touring though, when you see a lot of these videos, his voice gets tired, and being older now doesn't help.

he's still got a great voice, one of my favorites, but it just comes with getting old.

Nice and refreshing raw rock and roll versus 'haircut bands' with their approved mesa boogie generic high gain tones.

I know they pissed off the latelate sound man thats for sure. 100 watt stack cranked, that's f'ing loud, and you can hear it in the tone! Thats rock and roll ladies and gentlemen.
