i dunno what it is, but when ever i see a gun fight in a hallway and everyone misses... i get peeved to no end. how long is that hallway that lazer shot does a 80 degree turn into the ceiling? how could a lazer miss in a hallway anyway? let alone a copper/led bullet travailing a thousend feet per second. there's no logical explanation that not one of the 5 people standing there did not take aim and fire properly to at least take off someone legs. >.<

@BleachFanOne well, if you ever watch the movie from start to finish, Luke comments later that: "I can't see a thing in this helmet." while wearing a stormtrooper disguise. so yeah, the stormtroopers probably couldent see where they where shooting.

@chran1138 i have, ive watched them all, including the remakes. just cause Luke couldn't see out of it, does not mean that those who wear the damned things all the time cant see anything. they don't go walking/running into walls do they? or poles, so they can see givin the amount of time they have spent wearing them. which is still no excuse for all the misses in a near straight hallway.

@BleachFanOne well, there was that one trooper who hit his head on the rising security door. =) But yeah, even if we assume there periferal vision is obscured, all there targets are straight ahead. the only reason i can fathom for the poor shooting is the Principle of Evil Marksmanship. a film rule that says the antagonists will be as incompatent as the plot demands, regardless of previous reputation or training. It's cheating i know, but alot of films wouldent have a happy ending otherwise.

Yeah, I know. The point we were making (this was a video we played at church), was that the soundtrack was important - and that the wrong soundtrack REALLY stood out as wrong. The original clip didn't even have music at that point, and I couldn't find a good scene that would work. So, I combined the visuals of this scene with the music from another scene in ESB.
