You people realize these pro war demonstrations are not spontaneous right? These pro war demonstrations are organize by private interest to give the impression not everyone is against the war. I bet you will find a bunch republican operatives/military in there. You know those who walked in Florida to stop the recount?

i suppose i just feel this way because i think of when people protested for black rights, and they were beaten but no police protected them. I also think about whether police would protect an anti-war group of demonstrators at a rally for the war.. but I've never heard of a pro-war rally and so I can't exactly back that with evidence. just sortof a spur of emotions video.

I was at the protest yesterday, I participated in the die-in, and I found the pro-war protestors to be bigoted, narrow-minded attention seekers, but the police has a duty to protect them. It's called protection of free speech, and it doesn't only apply to views that you like. Of course I disagree with police attacking peaceful demonstrators (and I've seen it, it's horrible) (cont)
