peter was actually doing a lot; we just couldn't hear it with this sound quality. peter is a renowned rythm hog. i can't wait to see how they mixed it in the studio. if michael was completely on his a-game this audio would have sounded a lot better.

although this song is upbeat, the feel fits with new songs 2 and 3 posted by this guy as a sort of new "Automatic for the People" type album, which i think is absolutely fantastic. This ones kind of like the Ignoreland of the new songs ive heard so far, if i do say so myself. God i love this band.

are you kidding me!? you're crazy, ATS was awful with perhaps 4 or so exceptions, lacked focus and lamented in its own production. these new songs feel like a throw back to the good ole days with more gusto than since Monster and some of these even sound good enough to be "Automatic" tracks (especially song 3 posted by this guy). i dont know how anyone can think ATS is better than the new stuff... but whatever, everyones got an opinion. :p

I downloaded the complete Show yesterday and for me the new stuff sounds like Monster leftovers : (( Belive me, I´m not happy with that. It´s the first time I don´t get chills while hearing new songs...

i don't know... Monster was more about the noise coming in front of the melody and the vocals and such. There's certainly noise but i think stipe's voice is center stage and not as murky and muddy as it was on monster, theres clearer focus in my opinion, which makes it seem more like a green/document track. but a little louder like, yes, monster.

wait to hear the whole cd....the production,the instrumentation, the string arrangements and then u can say...These songs are very nice for the old time rem fans but i don t see how they could make a hit.
