They get higher frames in nVidia tuned games because some of them have methods to actually physically lower your FPS when you don't have an nVidia card present.
hmm i love AMD but the thing is that their videocards vs Nvidia, AMD are better in some games, and Nvidia is better for others. price per frame for the games i play Nvidia was cheaper, but ill never go Intel for a processor, AMD's name is carved in stone for that one.
And just what the hell is this fusion shit they are talking about? i keep hearing about it but from what i can tell its still the same old pc stuff that you can get anywhere.
Does AMD Fusion Partner Program provide internet marketing leads to its Elite and Select partners?

ATi's top of the line single GPU card is better than nVidia's top of the line dual-GPU card.

yea i know

you can't compare different generations, and their card gets higher frames, especially in nvidia tuned games. but i'm still proud of my 5870

Actually it falls behind about 5-10 fps less then a GTX 295. But for the awesome price, and considering it is a single GPU card, it's kickass.

Depends on the game. Ones optimized to dual graphics cards it's better, but when there's nothing to accelerate two cards, the 5870 is better.

kidowner, we know - Nvidia has been lacking behind alot the past two generations.

I go for the best available, which is: Intel Core i5 750 + ATI 5870.
helldrell666 2 years ago
well i was on a budget, and nvidia price per frame for Crysis
