Now, given that I know about the DOA characters, I would be able to answer those(kind of) but the problem is this:
In DOA there are two characters that look entirely identical. Ein and Hayate. Ein is friends with Hitomi(brunette), but Hayate is the one in the ninja clan. So, it's hard to say why she was being so familiar with him.
But it's possible that all 3 of those were her reasons for slapping him.
Seriously, though. We already figured out which side is "stronger." It's whichever side (DOA or FF) is fighting in the right style. One on one, DOA is always going to win. Why? Because they're from a one on one fighting game, that's what their entire moveset and fighting style is for. Team battle? FF takes it. Again, because team based fighting is what THEY are built for.

Ryu is certainly not a bad guy in the least bit. As a matter of fact no one in DOA is a bad guy except Christie. But in FF series theres a multitude of bad guys. Honestly the good guys aka DOA will win. They got Kasumi Alpha, Genra, Alpha 152, RYU!, Christie, DOATEC People to conduct experiments on, freakin Chaaracters from Ninja Gaiden FF is as good as over once everyone steps in.

How much you wanna bet the FF villains, one or more of them, are behind all this? The DoA characters are clearly organized, at least more so than the FF characters, whereas the FF characters just seem to be defending themselves. It's clear, too, that the FF characters are wanted alive, hence the end of this particular volume. Whoever's pulling the DoA's strings wants them all for a reason. Perhaps the villain(s) couldn't beat them, so they've enlisted outside help to bring them in?
In either event once Cloud, Barret, Yuffie, Vincent, Cid, Squall, Tidus, Auron, Khimari, and the rest get involved... @#$% gonna git REAL! Payback's a @#tch, DoA; git ready for a beating!

Is it just me, or are the FF characters seemingly incapable of beating the DoA characters one on one? I've noticed that trend since volume 1; if the number's even, FF gets owned. How much you wanna bet the FF villains, one or more of them, are behind all this? The DoA characters are clearly organized, at least more so than the FF characters, whereas the FF characters just seem to be defending themselves. It's clear, too, that the FF characters are wanted alive, hence the end of this particular volume. Whoever's pulling the DoA's strings wants them all for a reason. Perhaps the villain(s) couldn't beat them, so they've enlisted outside help to bring them in?

Is it just me, or are the FF characters seemingly incapable of beating the DoA characters one on one? I've noticed that trend since volume 1; if the number's even, FF gets owned. Then again, if I had an endless supply of ninja minions I could probably beat anyone too... eventually. Tifa got robbed... again.

@Kuruni:I'm saying that Ff characters(this doesnt apply to all ff characters,just the ones in this) are less likely to be the bad guys based on their backgrounds.They wouldn't attack someone without being antagonized first.So the chances of them attacking or attempting to kill doa without a reason are very slim.So i doubt they are the invaders or antagonists.

@blackfang23 Well when I stressed "characters that actually fight" it was directed at Kairi. She doesn't do a whole lot in canon and if Monty concocted some way for her to be replaced by someone competent like Aqua I'd squeal like a schoolgirl.
While she wasn't being unjust, Tifa (directly and indirectly) helped kill Shinra troops, Deepground soldiers, and other people/creatures of human sentience. So again I say, calling her saintly and Hitomi (bodycount: 0) a bitch is a bit silly.

@Kuruni:We have no idea if any soldiers were killed.No one in W.R.O had a grudge against vincent or yuffie and most of em were ex-soldiers of shinra.Yuna and her guardians werent charged with murder of any guards when they were sent to the via purifico.In ffx2 if you give the sphere to the youth league and go to bevelle a guard stops you to warn you.Then you are attacked by some guards and machina.after defeating them the guard doesnt call you a murderer,he tells you leave.

What i want to know is why are they holding back against doa.Yuna and Rikkus ultimate dressphere or yunas summoms would have ended that fight.And Tifa has only used about 6 or 8 of the materia in her body.Why are they holding back??Rinoa looked as though she had enough power to reduce the doa side to ashes.I guess doa isn't a threat(when they are not cheating)to them.
