this is the reason folds solo career will never match the way it used to be. that sounded 'exactly' as it does on the track, and its because its played exactly how it is recorded, unlike his songs now, where he records all the instruments seperatly, and then when he plays live it just isnt the same. but that there was ben folds i reckon at his best.

do u play an instrument? well if u do, u would no what it is like playing live, and the fact that it sounds different isnt because they play it different, but because it is so hard to get it to sound the same! the ability to get it to sound like your listening to the cd is amazing! People don't go because it is different, they go to see the band play! to be able to hear the songs being played straight from the instruments, and not from the cd, and the closer it sounds to the cd the more amazing!
