@Zombiejimful --- I told myself, when I finally got on email, that I would still write letters with on on paper. Sadly, I almoft never do. I guess the future will consist of "The Collected Emails and Blogs of So-&-So."
I want to thank everyone who has watched this and made it my most-viewed vlog -- over 700 views now. Most of my videos rarely reach 100 views. Perhaps some day I can convince S. T. to return again -- he has so much more going on and so many more books that he is working on.
Great interview! Can't wait to look through the new expanded version of the Lovecraft bio--I can't promise I'll read every word of it :-) but I'll certainly burrow through it like a happy groundhog!
@ladreya1 His schedule is so insane I was lucky to get this one interview! He has so many projects going on, always, and rarely has free time for anything other than work.
@papersteven It amazes me that Del Rey or Tor, or one of the cool small press companies such as Subterranean Press, have not picked up the book. I know that S. T. is trying to find an American publisher for it and I am certain that will happen. The book has proved extremely popular.
@Jezetha Yeah, I was gonna ask him to do a second vlog, but this one seemed good enough for now, and his time is limited. But over dinner we thought of things we forgot to mention, such as the H. P. Lovecraft/Robert E. Howard correspondence will be coming out in trade paperback editions. So, he will return for future vlogs as time permits!
@MrWilum I forgot to say that S.T. Joshi's original (and undoubtedly definitive) version of his Lovecraft biography is an exciting prospect, too. I really hope you'll be able to have him more often to keep us abreast of developments. But, as you say, his time is limited and precious (to us, too!)
@Punktowner Jeffrey, darling -- HE AIN'T ALWAYS RIGHT!!! He is wrong about "The Dunwich Horror" and he is wrong about your wonderful Mythos fiction. I love the man, but his is not Ye Word of Gawd.
its great to see joshi talking about my fav writer and also about my personal heros likes hitchens, dawkins etc...
good stuff

I am so jealous! Oh to just be in the same room with S. T. Joshi...I would be an inarticulate, gushy wreck!

Very cool interview. Any chance Black Wings will be published in the US?

(Too) short but (very) sweet, Wilum! I'm excited at the prospect of the HPL-CAS correspondence being published. These are great times to be alive!
