The deep sound of the engine startup, the sudden whine of the CFM5C's being kicked into full thrust, and the flaps sounds...737 classics are PHENOMENAL.
@anderolsd: Maybe this was a SAS Braathens as I looked over the wing tanks it seemed like it is the 300 variant^^
@ radeonplus: I like how the spoiler and the aileron moved together. It seemed like as if the wing just woke up^^ Hehe! Further more, this is one of the best videos I've seen! It is so still unlike other videos which is merely shaky, moving and zooming to other things (ouch..my videos seemed like that) its just so focused, not irritating to the eye^^
@FSXHD92 anderolsd is right! SAS have the following planes according to "SAS magsinet": Boeing 737-400, 500, 600, 700 & 800. Norwegian got the 737-300
oh absolutley not! i love heights, and the thrill u must get from going down the runway and glyding up 30,000ft..i also love math and science, trust me, the money is the last thing ill be worrying about.- i just put that to let ppl know how good the pay is.
honestly flying is very exiting and fun but also very calm and organized . if your expecting some sort of thrill, it would either be an emergency situation or being a stunt pilot. dont ecpect "thrills" on commercial flight because its not nessecarily a good thing.
oh cool, idk what plane i want to fly exactly, but to me it would be a great honor to fly a boeing 747 and an Airbus A380. all the others im okay with. im just worried that planes wont be around when i get out of college. thats 11 years away! yea im 13, but I want a Ph.D, which I believe is 6 years of FULL time school. so yea.
I'm 12, and i want also to fly the A380, or the B787, i'm now on school in The Netherlands, and i do TVWO (half english class), but it's so long waiting!
Jet planes have been around since the 50's they aren't going anywhere anytime soon except up in the air with passengers and cargo..
What do you think we would have in place of the plane?
Anyway if that did happen wouldn't it be cool to operate or use what ever it is?
How cool would an alien-based saucer be to fly? or how about just beaming to China or England in a Star Trek style transporter.. I think any one of them is really cool.
737 classics have the best sounds, from engine to flaps, in aviation

Yep it's a 300 alright...just flew from Christchurch to wellington on one of these. Awesome fun.
Love the sounds of the engines spooling up and down when we were landing as it was a bit rough.

That was just simply beautiful...
Every time I watch an airplane take off a chill races through my body and then I am overwhelmed with the thought..
The very thing man was never meant to do...
And yet we did it anyway..
And then I gain a huge uncontrollable grin : )

by thrill i mean the excitment of landing and taking off.
ThePaperBoy21858 3 years ago
The "thrill" is those CFM56-3s spooling to take-off thrust.

SAS doesen't have a Boeing 737-300 model.
Perhaps this is from Norwegian Airliners og a -500 or -400 model.
